Rayvin 6433
Just in case anyone thought the Guardian let us off too lightly over winning the cup despite being owned by Saudi... https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/apr/12/tainted-victory-newcastles-saudi-influence-still-divisive-after-success Even references Pearson ffs, as if he's now some sort of club ambassador. 2

I think the guardian going to pearson for comment is infinitely less ludicrous than the bbc having charlotte 'spaniel tits, erm erm erm' robson/hope as their go to voice of newcastle. she's a fucking embarrassment who's managed to whore herself in to a position where tickets for any newcastle game isn't an issue on the back of being a simpering, know nowt, jonny come lately, bimbo cunt. 2

Alex 37707
I couldn’t give a fuck what the Guardian thinks about anything but it’s laughable they find NUFC and its fans somehow more accountable than a government/state that has regarded Saudi Arabia as a key ally for decades.

It’s more than that. We can’t have anything like the standard of living we have in this country if we cut ourselves off from and boycott goods from places like China. Who are easily equally bad from a human rights pov, whilst presenting much more of an existential threat and having what essentially amounts to ambitions of world wide domination. Their tech was probably made there. The minerals inside it were probably mined using an African workforce who earn next to fuck all and shorten their lifespan considerably doing so. So I guess any sensible person realises we live in a global economy where we are the winners in many ways. And any stance you take about one single thing just makes you a hypocrite about practically everything else when it comes to things like this. But no, we’re supposed to go along with everything else but football club ownership is beyond the pale? And it’s really driven because they’re pissed off it’s NUFC crashing the party. With its fiercely loyal supporters who deserve a patronising pat on the head (but we can’t have them actually winning things!) They built that whole article about one daft cunt who gave it to the man by listening to the cup final on the radio instead of watching it on fucking free to air telly. He really showed them. I hope we keep winning stuff and it keeps boiling their piss. Which it especially will if it’s to the detriment of their beloved chosen ‘big clubs’. Sonatine 12276
I know it's been said many times before, but compare the way they go on about us with the complete and utter silence about Chelsea and that Russian gangster. Half the fuckers in the media having a pop at us used to actually write articles praising the cunt as the model of a perfect owner. They all knew how he got his money, but didn't dare say anything in case they got sued into oblivion. Fuck the lot of them

Fuck the lot of them Rob Draper is so principled he used to write for Mail and went to Russia in 2016 to report on the World Cup for that paragon of virtue. This was, of course, after Putin’s first incursion into Ukraine and the annexation of Crimea. For some reason this, the lack of democracy and the human rights abuses didn’t get mentioned by him at the time or directly afterwards. 5

Craig 7326
Win tomorrow and Wednesday and we are 4 points behind Arsenal and still have to play them. Not saying catching them is necessarily likely, but it’s absolutely possible. Imagine Legohead’s reaction if we did … never mind Ty’s

Dr Gloom 24236
I love how the players aren’t hiding the fact they’re aiming for champions league this season. It’s clear what the objective is in their post match interviews and social media posts. They were quite coy about it right till the end a couple of seasons ago. Almost afraid to admit we were in with a chance for risk of jinxing it. It feels different this time. The players know they’re good enough to get a CL finish and they’re not afraid to say so in public. We’re not here to fuck about and make up the numbers anymore. We’re talking and acting like a big club now. Those fuckwits on sky better recognise

Kid Dynamite 7918
Pretty sure other clubs have managed to identify land, build a new training ground and move in, in the same amount of time we've still been looking at potential sites

Are they double checking with the bank manager and working out the wages before they slap in a bid?
