A whole big section on 'change' in that - notable I think because he also touches on the idea that they're deliberating over what to do with the stadium. I think we might shift, but he's clearly got some ideas for taking us forward that deviate a bit from what we've been doing. It sounded a little too fully considered to just be standard corporate bullshit. Don’t like him at all and find him a bit skin crawley Sounds an A grade bullshitter. Wish him all the best though. Wish him all the best though. Oddly enough I got that sort of vibe too, but it might be a function of his accent. What I did like, even if it is just standard corporate stuff, is his determination to listen to people in the first instance, and to adapt to a plan that makes sense for the club rather than coming in with a particular vision to railroad us towards. For me at least that feels like the right approach. The warnings about change I still think are key though. Really interested to see where that takes us. Referenced it being a similar with the ScotiaBank arena being in the centre of Toronto, the Bernabeu being right on Castellana in Madrid and Madison Square Gardens being in the heart of Manhattan. Gemmill 63253
I think he came across well tbh. As far as CEOs go. More so than the last one, definitely.

Agree, I have high hopes for him. Just think there was some managing expectations in there - not around the club's potential, but around what he's planning to do. Toonpack 15605
I though he sounded ok tbh, I didn't pick up on much corporate speak tbh, especially for a North American, that said, it's a couple of years since I've had the "pleasure" of suffering town halls with yank CEO/presidents, because if you didn't know, I'm fucking retired 👍😁 Pretty strong Canadian accent mind. P.S. Where's the fucking match thread @Dr Gloom you tardy cunt.

Gemmill 63253
Howe is asked about the sporting director situation and the perception that he's a manager that doesn't like to work with one. "I don't know where that's come from. I'm DESPERATE for a sporting director. The way the modern club works you need that person. I had a very good relationship with Dan Ashworth. A very good relationship with Richard Hughes at Bournemouth for many years." One name conspicuously absent from his answer.
