Alexander Isak

I don't reckon the value proposition in terms of PSR would be there for that deal to happen.

They paid 65 million for him and frankly he is worth less than that now, not more.

But they'd want 80 or 100 million in value on the Isak transfer, which does fuck all for us really compared to the cash.

If we negotiated separate deals and he was 50 or so I'd go for it just for a laugh. He can't score in the PL but he is a mad bastard and he has great physicality and I like that, its fun.

The season before we signed Isak he had scored 6 in 32 btw.

I'm definitely not suggesting we pay 80 to 100 for him, I'm thinking more like if we played on Liverpool's desperation to get Isak and got 100 plus him for Isak or something.

Liverpool need to realise that they're unlikely to have a free run at Isak next summer, so this might be their one chance at this deal.

Nunez will be our last one left in the nightclub at 3am type gear

Regardless of whether we end with him or not, he’s now no longer Nunez and will simply be known to me as Sandra.

Agree with this lad. Fucking bench Isak for 3 season. Swallow the £120m in lost fees.

If PSR wasn't issue I'd love to do this. But its not practical and its also not worth having a bad influence around the place.

Surely we'd get more value in using Harvey Elliott in this example. A young player with excellent technical ability who can carve open stubborn defences (a skill we actually lack) - and who they've been touting around since the end of the season.

Nunez would be fine as a Wilson replacement (same as Wissa and Muniz) but at the kind of stupid money they'd want for him it would be a non-starter.

It would also 100% affect our ability to bring other young prospects in.

Apparently Isak's contract has a sell-on clause so Real Sociedad are in line for a cash windfall if he moves on.

Which club are allegedly providing him with facilities to train at the moment? :huff:

Cunts.

It might perk their agents up to include sell clauses. Something Isaks chancers never thought of for some reason.

I wonder if Isak is feeling a bit uneasy about his actions.

His agent will be advising him on this without a doubt. He seemed like a good lad but this behaviour stinks. Players like Guehi etc just did it professionally.

5% I think it is according to @Diego21

The amount isn't the issue for me, it's the fact Sociedad are facilitating his ability to train in isolation and without media intrusion when they have a ulterior motive.

If the cunt wants to remain fit, he should be at Darsley Park in full view of media cameras. He and/or his agent have created this situation. They need to suck up the consequences of it.

It's a percentage of the capital gain too, not a percentage of the fee. So it's been discussed on here previously anyway. So if we sell him for £150m, it's 5% of £90m, not 5% of the £150m.

Cue Wyki and his "this is brand new information" meme.

10-15% of capital gain, per Diego about 200 years ago.
