He fucking should do because if he's staying then they've absolutely hung him out to dry.

I don't think Liverpool have any desire to pay what we're looking for him.

That really should be the end of this then. We were really fucking clear that we wouldn't sell for less than £150m and no one in either Liverpool or Isak's camp should be deluded enough to imagine that him agitating was going to knock 40 fucking million off the asking price. I mean come on.

I still think there might have been a scenario where they tried us again if we got Sesko, but since that doesn't appear to be happening it seems to me like they've completely wasted everyone's time and royally stitched Isak up.

The longer this goes on, the more I'm of the opinion they had no real intent on signing him, it was all about destabilising our summer plans.

They're fucking terrified of us coming up in the fast lane behind them!

FUCK! I got way too involved in wanting to win that.

Probably best avoid following jfmarbletrack on Instagram then. Get properly invested in wanting a particular pool ball to finish first

This is my take on it.

I think they have already achieved what the wanted in wrecking our summer.

If we sign a replacement they won't offer anything approaching £150 M

They never intended to pay what he is worth. Don't be surprised if they gave him and his management a few ideas on how to move the transfer forward.
I've been thinking about this, huff or not at the end of last season, there is no way the club would have included him in any of their kit promotional shoots/videos, etc if they had the remotest inkling that Isak really wanted to leave.

Thing in our favour is our owners might not be able to splash the cash but they also don't like to be fucked with.

I said this the other day.

The Gordon transfer speculation last season too. He was our best player and yes we might have considered having to sell him but they made sure it reached the media. And they made sure they got in his head, which in turn affected his performances for months.

Yeah absolutely bang on with that and he pretty much said as much in the interview he did with the Mail.

Eddie, Isak & the club must now realise what Liverpool have done here. Turned his head with the sole purpose of disrupting the player & in turn the window ( scrambling to get his replacement) Putting in an insulting offer for him. Now today's statement from them. The bunch of shithouses. With everyone at the club now realising they've been well & truly played. Hopefully Isak can be reintroduced into the squad the bridges fixed, with the players all of the same mindset. We're going to go out & destroy the opposition who ever they are. Let's draw a line under this the season starts in 9 days COME ON !!!!

What statement have they made?

I think he's referring to the tweet by the Liverpool Echo journo I posted earlier.

No matter what the outcome, Liverpool have ensured that our start to this season will be a struggle, Isak, if he is reintergrated, has had no pre-season, he won't be match fit until mid to late September.

Liverpool won the league last season in that first 3 or 4 months, their actions and their media mouthpieces have done their job and put those upstarts in their place. Cunts.

I wouldn't be blaming Liverpool for our utter ineptitude in this window.

That's a different discussion completely.

Correct.

That fact we've been absolutely wank in the transfer window doesn't mitigate in any way the cuntishness of Liverpool Football Club for derailing our pre-season preparations.

Hopefully there's a way back for Isak, yes his head was turned but in a pure cuntish way with no intention of buying him. Time for him to knuckle down & do what he does best, bang them goals in. I hope he's managed to keep himself match fit. I'd luv it if he scored a hat trick against Liverpool

They've bid for a player- to be expected, whether its them or another club.

If thats enough to derail our pre-season more fool us.

Did we sit the key players down and explain our plans to strengthen and build on last season? No?

But we did have a barbecue
