Craig 12389
Smelling less of Blue Pop and more of a whiff of 'goes to Asda in PJs and fucking rollers in the hair!' Go have a minute's silence and fuck off.

Rayvin 8367
Wouldn't surprise me if scouse. For some reason they can't stand the idea that anyone anywhere thinks poorly of them and seem to need to defend their honour at every turn. Serial victims who are better at whining than they are even at football. Either way though, it doesn't look like they're going to come back with another bid at this point so Isak is going to have to accept that they've fucked him over, especially with Sesko now not happening. Reintegration surely the only way forward now.
Craig 12389
Yep Sesko was realistically Isak’s last opportunity to force the move this summer. Can’t see it happening now.

Well it's hard to imagine we're going to accept it then, because as it stands we'd be going into the season with no senior striker. And I continue to believe Isak won't down tools. Aye, there's zero point in going any further down the list of possible replacements and wasting money on the wrong player. Stick with Isak and get Wissa in as Wilson's replacement.
Gemmill 63312
Howe's press conference tomorrow should be interesting. I'm assuming he's doing one ahead of the weekend games.
Craig 12389
The massive question is whether Isak's position is still recoverable. I believe it is, and I believe the hard line Eddie is taking with him right now will have a positive outcome for us. There's no guarantees, and it's gut instinct but I think he can get his head back in the game. Would love him to play a fortnight on Monday and give those Scouse cunts an absolute hiding. Liverpool will move in again if Newcastle buy a couple of strikers.

Not exactly a massive exclusive, we all could have told him this a week ago. The BIG development is probably Wissa deal's fucked!
trooper 1058
I'd imagine the race will now be on to get him "match fit" for the Villa game
Craig 12389
Not exclusive, no, but the realisation that we'll have gone through the entire pre-season without Isak featuring once is massively frustrating in terms of hitting the ground running. Whether that is down to this 'thigh injury' or whether it's all a case of Liverpool fucking with his head, I guess we'll only ever know if he gets his move and is miraculously 100% fit to crack on. Infuriating.

They got the deal done and re-invested. We had a a barbecue, lose out on multiple players and blame a "Cartel" etc etc Its not a good look Who exactly do you think you’re fooling at this point?

Craig 12389
I’m largely ambivalent when it comes to football. I’ve grown accustomed over the years to being disappointed with my lot but fuck me, I’m finding this summer exceptionally hard. It’s abysmal. I don't think the season will play out as badly as this summer has, mind. We should still be a lot stronger by the time we kick off. I feel bad for Howe but hopefully it lights a fire to make a point.

Craig 12389
I admire the optimism Rayvin. The reality is we’ve had one in and one out in the goalkeeping ranks, we’ve moved on a central midfielder and a striker and replaced neither, we’ve strengthened our RW options which is indeed a step forward, however we find ourselves in a position where the one striker we could rely on and who we thought might be a single point of failure, doesn’t want to be here. To top that off, the bloke supposedly hired last summer to drive recruitment fucked off 2 days into the summer and we’ve no sign of a replacement, nor for the fella above who announced 10 months ago he was stepping down. Even by our standards, it’s a fucking shambles.

We still have very good players, and a very good manager. This summer has all been about the board and recruitment teams, which have indeed been shambolic - but there's no reason to assume that carries into the playing team. We'll still be a good team, just not as good as we could have been.
