We value him at £150m, (apparently) and their first bid was £110m. I'd officially up that £150m figure and let a court probably meet it in the middle.

Cancellation of his registration with us has to be "without just cause" which it almost certainly would be. Then as soon as he signs for another club he owes us his transfer fee. Or you hope that the club you sign for pays it on your behalf. I suspect it won't come to this and this is all just desperation from his side cos he can see his situation getting worse and worse as each day passes.

Kid Dynamite 9342
Howe needs to call this out in his next press conference. "Journalists" and his agent doing to bidding of cartel clubs. He needs to say he would happily play him in the reserves for 3 seasons, but PSR means we can't afford to replace him unless we sell him. And what's to stop other clubs trying this tactic every window to unsettle players at other clubs.
Ayatollah Hermione 17238
I also wonder how much of this heel digging from Isak is motivated by the fact he doesn’t want to face the music with regards to his teammates in training and, importantly, the fans in the stadium. The shitty arse that he is probably sees an exit is important to avoid a proper arse kicking

Howe explicitly made the point the other day that he's injury free.

Craig 12389
I'm not convinced by Ornstein, like. seems to have a narrative that's against what most other media outlets are saying. Fucking hate all this bullshit - it sends you on a path of seriously questioning whether the likes of him, and Romano, are in the pockets of certain clubs and are paid to put stories out there to cause unrest and destabilisation. Is there anything regulatory to prevent those shenanigans if there is truth to it? I mean if the likes of him are being paid by clubs like Liverpool to chuck stories out there which in turn are getting clicks, what's to stop them without regulation?

It's bad news for Liverpool if it does come to court. They could potentially be liable for enticement to breach contract so the court would be able to demand all communications they've had with Isak and his agent and could get very messy.

Gemmill 63310
Romano would be a great subject for a piece of quality investigative journalism. To find out how he operates, what he's charging, who's paying him, which clubs are involved, etc. I saw something about some Scandinavian clubs accusing him of demanding cash to post certain things. Surely that should be of interest to a decent journalist.

It's media reporting so until I hear it either from the player himself or, more likely the club, i'll take it with a pinch of salt. I'm convinced the likes of Ornstein are desperate for him to end up at Anfield just to be able to repost shit badged with "I exclusively revealed earlier in the summer...."

If he wants to play this is his only course of action in this window. He won't miss 4 months wages if he sits it out til January when he undoubtedly will go on loan somewhere due to the world cup. As for us, I do think we're doing the right thing by standing up to Liverpool after the way they've acted this summer. We'll be told that we're cutting off our nose to spite our face..... and there's a fair chance that we are...

I mean Ornstein isn't making this stuff up. He's reporting what he's being told by the agent who is acting on behalf of the player. It's of next to no benefit to Ornstein to force a move for Isak to Liverpool.
Dazzler 16213
The irony is that his behaviour will be turning other clubs away. He's showing himself up to be a self-serving and petulant cunt - I wouldn't be surprised if Slot is looking at his behaviour and wondering whether he's even worth the hassle. Everything he's doing is beyond idiotic. He's really only leaving himself Saudi as a feasible option.
