Who's he confirmed it with though, apart from Reuben? Regardless of it possibly being true it's a PR guff bone from the club to throw to the pack :cuppa:

"Regardless of it possibly being true".

I know you don't like Hope, but people reporting the truth is alright by me.

I was happy for him to stay and trusted Eddie on this but after the statement and then the refusal to reconsider after the Rueben peace talks I gave up on him completely.

Still think we should have put incoming first though. I hope they have another big Nick rabbit to pull out of the hat,

I think there was no way back after he released that public statement.

the same hope that no cunt has good word for?

I'm not bothered about that. He clearly gets information from the club and has been out on front on the story all summer.

I suspect we’ll have to pay silly money for JSL. Like, £70m silly.

The problem is that unless we’ve already got someone lined up to move then clubs can literally name their own price, no matter how eye-watering a figure that might be.

No way can we seriously expect to have a decent season with Woltermade (obviously talented but young and no PL experience) Osula & Gordon being our only options.

I’m hoping that we sorted that out before letting the rat leave.

it doesn’t appear we have, which is why some on here are baffled.

You're just in a huff cos your bet's dead.

Your last sentence is bollocks. We've taken a pragmatic approach and made a £100m PSR profit on a player who was never going to play for us again. Any other action would have been more detrimental to us than Liverpool.

It's fuck all to do with my being a huff and everything to do with the club capitulating to the snake and red scouse cunts.

Remember just a few months ago after the Everton match when Yasir Al-Rumayyan left with just a single message: "Alexander Isak must not be sold"?

Remember when we rejected Liverpool's first offer with such force that they said there's no point in coming back with a second offer?

Remember when the club released a statement saying that Isak would only be sold for the fee we had asked and when we had signed two strikers?

We have clearly capitulated at the last minute. We're not under PSR pressure. We could have held on to the player and seen what way the cards fell after the window. Instead we've given Liverpool and the player everything they asked for while we're left with William Osula and an untested German as our two options up front. It's a fucking shambles.

People on here can shrug shoulders and say “oh well, we wanted rid anyway” but we have had our pants well and truly pulled down by a direct rival.

Meanwhile Brentford, aye Fucking Brentford are standing firm on a player in his last contracted year. Get to fuck man.

This is not a good look for our club.

Loads of water under the bridge since all of the milestones you've posted above. All of which combined to make him staying at the club as close to impossible as you can get.

What has happened? He met Reuben and some cunts from PIF and re-iterated his stance. That's literally all that has happened in the past week.

The RAT apparently didn't officially put in a transfer request but the loyalty bonus won't be paid. This make sense as far as the lower price being suggested. To have paid him a loyalty bonus would have been outrageous. I don't hope he gets injured, I'd prefer if he's fully fit but can't crack a starting spot over Ekitike.

It's not that I don't like him, it's that he's basically the Byker Laura Kuessenberg. He's getting fed first hand by someone wanting to put a certain message out. Reuben thinks that this tidbit is some sort of win and will in some way placate us. That's taking the fanbase/his customers for fucking idiots at a time where it's looking like he's been part of a monumentally fucking useless senior management team.

It's not £15m though. According to Ornstein: "The deal is worth £130million ($176m) to Newcastle due to solidarity payments and will cost Liverpool £125m." Which is a bit like including the money we'll save by getting him off the wage bill.

Ornstein has been on Liverpool's side of this all summer and has been being fed by Liverpool and Isak’s agent. I don't think he has any sort of inside track on what the deal is worth to Newcastle and anything he reports is coming from one side (not ours).

It clearly isn't taking them for idiots though. People on here have been saying "I fucking hope the rat isn't getting his loyalty bonus" and that has been confirmed to us. People wanted/needed to hear that the fucking rat hasn't walked away with his loyalty bonus.

The terrible executive appointments, you'll get no argument from me on.

Ah right. Craig Hope spits pure facts but Ornstein is just a Liverpool puppet?

Despite them both reporting the same information.

What's happened since Al Rummayan said not to sell him?

How long have you got?

And Eddie patently washed his hands of him.

Reintegration would have been Eddie's job, "other people handling that" was get rid IMO

It would be lovely if we pursued Liverpool for the very obvious way in which they tapped up our contracted player without our permission. As others have said this could make sense of we reveal a striker who we have signed. If not then I agree that it makes us appear weak.

Setting aside pride and vindictiveness he needed to be removed from our club for us to be able to move on with this season. The media and the constant rumours and speculation about him would have been a massive distraction. Howe has been begrudingly dealing with this shit over and over in press conferences if anyone brings it up in our next one they should be immediately thrown out.

so who is your prediction for the next player the murderers will decide they can take on the cheap, whenever they fancy and with only pitiful resistance from the owners?

tobali?

livramento?

hall?

gordon?

mebbees the new kid if he has a decent season?

don't get too attached to any fucker, we had every opportunity to tell them to fuck off and failed. we're still very much a feeder club.

I think some of you might need to take the day off and go do something nice.

I get being unhappy about the transfer but the headloss is unreal. Its a wonder half of you are still alive.
