I asked what length of time he would be expected to be out his reply Quote Haha you know I can't tell you that! All depends really on the grade. An isolated gd 1 injury will heal, but players can have residual pain when trying to swerve a ball with instep for around 3-6 months. I would still think League One up you're looking at 8-12 weeks being realistic. If I was a betting man I would say 12 is the more sensible time length. Thinking back to Keegan times, didn't we have a smaller squad who didn't get injured as much? Maybe it's just my mind playing tricks on me. Or more likely the demands of the game are so much greater now. Also, I cant help wincing when I see knee slides. Keegan’s team wouldn’t be able to keep up with the pace of the modern game. Tonali might be the fittest player I've ever seen at the club.
