I think Tino gives options from the bench with all the positions he can play. I think that’ll have been the thinking with not much else amongst the subs

Not to mention Trippiers leadership when you have a starting 11 that don't often play together. You need someone making sure they are doing their jobs on the pitch.

 

If we weren't down to two right backs and only hall/Dummett at lb then I think he may have chanced playing Tino and Trips but I don't think we have the feasible options at the minute.

Aye. I would’ve expected Trippier to start. But livramento can feel hard done to after his recent performances. But I think his versatility will be the reason. Especially as he can actually have an impact as an attacker too
