Rio Ferdinand: ‘Levy needs to make sure that Ange stays and they build on this’.

I think we can all agree with that.

Ange is at the wheel.

I’ve genuinely seen better quality women’s football matches than that.

I actually fell asleep in between. Just woke up in time.

I have to say that us beating Liverpool, Palace beating Man City and the cunts being unable to win against Spurs in a final is a nice change.

Incredible how the football Gods have smiled on us recently. Never thought I'd see us win a trophy, and the next thing I'd wish for football wise after Nufc success is Manu being dragged through the mud on their faces.  Both in the same season, in this fashion too? Brilliant

all get to finals and beat teams from Sky’s fabled “big 6”….

I know they were the comic relief member of the group, but Spurs were big 6 themselves, no

Let’s hope Real Betis do us all a favour next week as well. What a season it would be for Arsenal, Man City, Man United and Chelsea to all win fuck all

He really doesnt get that this lazily stubborn thinking is not the badge of honor that he seems to think it is, and sections of the media have lapped it up and supported him. "Oh he's got his way of doing things" etc etc.

Imagine a normal person making a total mess of their job and then gloating that they're not going to change or try to adapt. Sacked the next day probably right?

Not that I'm complaining. Ten Hag was a gift and this bloke seems to be an even bigger one

tbh I think he’s a decent coach who’s inherited an absolute shambles and no appointment was going to sort that place out in half a season.

Bit early for anyone to be judging him just yet. They’re not a million miles off the mess they were in in 1986 when Ferguson took over. Took him 3.5 years to get anywhere, I think they need to give someone a similar timeframe.

That all may be true but I dont think that's the problem, noone would have expected him to sort it all out by now.

But they're getting worse, and his attitude reeks at time, stubborn, dragging down the club and the players constantly. If there's a genius lying underneath all that then fair play but I wouldnt think those are good signs if I was a Manu fan.

The players they’ve got are utterly rotten. I think Fernandes is quality, but that’s about it. Can’t polish turds.

The reality is that Ten Hag wasn't doing as poor a job as the higher ups and Man Utd fans hoped. Regardless of how good a coach you think Amorim is he has demonstrably dragged them backwards. 26 premier league matches in charge and they show no signs of progress. 14 losses, 6 draws, 6 wins. Once upon a time it was hard to get a draw at Old Trafford let alone a win. Not any more.

Got chatting to an old cockney lad and his missus, he supports 'united' despite being 79, trying to wind me up in a 'banter' way about NUFC, no harm at all really but bumped into them last night, told them we're off in the morning, bit chat with them etc, and their lass says are you watching the game? 'game?' I says, then remembering he supports man u. She says 'you know what game I'm talking about.' before the old lad starts bantering about it being a proper cup etc. Said they would probably see us at breakfast before we check out, can't really be arsed as we've obviously stuff to do but great if we see them now, great if we don't.

I mean I'd be ringing the flight company, changing my flight to tomorrow, and then installing myself in the restaurant with my feet on the table and a big shit eating grin on my face.

In the nicest possible way it’s the likes of him being “radicalised by the grief of Munich” in the 60s that has made Man Utd one of the biggest clubs on the planet. Ive  always resented these fuckers most tbh :cuppa:

Spare a thought for Harry Kane. Left Spurs after growing fed up not winning anything. The moment he does, so do they.

How very ‘Michael Owen’
