Eddie’s stronger squad, which will bounce back after a turgid game against Leeds with the new Crouch and Defoe, vs Wolves

6 Seems excessive

Nah, it’s probably light when you consider how many times a wolves player needed to get the sand out their fannies.

Osula should have just rolled it in to Elanga's path there. When the crowd gets excited it seems to transfer to him and he has as much composure as I would have.

WTF is this shit.

We normally concede from stupid things like Bruno’s needless push to give them a free kick in a good position tbh.

Three points at last. It should settle some nerves. Tonali head and shoulders above the rest. Loads of stupid mistakes.

Good three points but we looked thoroughly disorganised at the back, which is unususl.

That'll get fixed. Missed today, listened on the radio. Thursday will my first match this season, hoping for something special. :)

🤞 for Wissa too.

Thank god for that and delighted for Big Nick but it’s gonna be a tough season I think.

Players will have been keeping one eye on Barcelona tbh. I think we'll get a better performance there - that being said, good result and delighted for Nick..! Exactly the person you'd want to be scoring today.

We have only lost to Liverpool after battering them as well. Today was one of the games where we would have lost points in the past because of not being focused.

It wasn’t easy to watch but nothing to build worries on either.

We just need some points to get the confidence going and this will help. A result against Barca would too.

I thought Burn and Schar did brilliantly individually but as a whole they had too much space running at us.

Woltemade and Tonali the other stand outs. Tonali is just on a different level. And this was just the debut Nick needed. The rest of the players looked off it for the most part.

Shouldn't read too much into the performance just yet, we'll get going soon enough.

I'm just not convinced with Barnes, he's great when he's on it but just adds very little to the team when his one trick isn't working. Gordon coming in will be a lift.
