I don’t want Eddie sacked but there are definately question marks over his recent decisions.

 

This away form isn’t a recent issue either it’s been happening for a long time.

 

He also gets credit for bringing a lot of players on.

 

But some players have regressed. Gordon being the obvious one. 20 games and no assists or goals.

 

Howe rightly should be under pressure because it’s his job to get results and we can’t just say “he won us a pot” because that is nonsense.

On the plus side, we might actually spend some money in the January as a bit of an injection to the squad. Hopefully Ross Wilson has got some ready made additions, and we've definitely got the cash/PSR headroom to do something.

Agree Gordon has been shit but he has been impacted most by the absence of Tino and Hall.

 

The year we first qualified for the CL under Howe, Burn and Trips were full backs. 

 

Following year Tino and Hall played a combined 45 Premier league games and trips was an assist machine.

 

That season Gordon had 21 premier league goal contributions. 

 

We are dysfunctional and in transition with our forward line & he has not helped himself either.

 

There's a way back into form & I firmly believe it starts with the young full backs starting. 

 

Need another maybe 2 fullbacks in Janaury/summer, a creative midfielder, another winger & perhaps another striker if we manage to fuck Osula off.

 

Should have plenty in the bank to spend before they change the PSR rules again to screw us over once more.

There are thousands of Geordies who have died not seeing that Pot. Great managers with far bigger budgets have not seen that pot.

 

Howe puts himself under pressure every day of the week from 6am til late. He is fanatical, a perfectionist and doesn’t try and blame others. We have never had a manager graft so hard for our club.

 

He has more than deserved to have an off season along the way, even though I firmly believe a lot of it has been not of his making.

 

I love Hall, but I get than Howe is under a lot of pressure to wrap him in egg shells. He said as much last week. After Burns goal a few days ago and so few coming from elsewhere, you can see why he has persisted with him.

 

100% Hall should have been on sooner. I said so earlier.

 

But people thinking the end is nigh should think about not only what came before, but also what success a lot of other clubs have had on the manager merry go round.
