I don’t think we are that far off it. If we get the next goal I think we’ll win it but Leverkusen are picking us off pretty well so a second for them looks more likely.

We have Thiaw basically man marking Schick who is dropping off and it’s leaving a massive hole for their midfield to run into. Trust our defenders and put them on the back foot. Be brave.

Well that was a shit first half. Outplayed all over the field and no plan b upfront. Into the corners, tap tap and crab over to the other side. Be nice to see one of our midfielders actually running at goal with the ball for a change.

As well as enforcing he was previously great at turning/beating the first defender and running into space forcing another defensive player out of position. Don't know what has happened to him but you're right a complete shadow of himself and it has now been for a prolonged period.

Aye, you can't blame Ramsdale for that either, no keeper is getting to that deflection unless they were wrongly positioned for the header.

I think we've been the better team in the last 15-20 minutes, we just haven't been able to open them up down the center and unfortunately they've been able to get through our middle every counter attack. We're in this though.
