Best Gig

Bit of a surprise mine. Went to see Sheryl Crow at the Tyne Theatre a while back. Got the tickets for nowt, was right at the front, had a great piss up before hand, and she looked fit as fuck from where I was standing (may have been the afforementioned drink). Everyone else seemed as pissed as me as well so were well up for it, meaning none of this sitting down malarky. Didn't piss about with obscure or new shite either, jjust did the greatest hits, so even if you're not a fan (like me) you at least knew the songs.

Anyone else been to just a perfectly cracking gig?

Sigur Ros at Manchester Apollo was class

Radiohead at Glasto '03 was great too

Statistics at the Pheonix Club was class too, mostly as it was such a small intense venue

Bright Eyes/Rilo Kiley at Manchester Academy 2 was very hit and miss. Rilo Kiley were awesome, Bright Eyes were mostly dissapointing except for their last 3 songs which were class.

Here man, she fucking eyed me up. FACT.

Never mind those one balled lanky streak of piss push bike blokes Sheryl, the peg knows how to show a woman a good time. That's what I would have said if I hadn't had the Mrs with me.

Did you get a good look upskirt? Is that why it was a canny gig?

I wish I'd gone to the one at the COM Stadium last year to be honest, that would have been ace.

The best concert I've ever been to was U2 at Wembley in 92, The Zoo TV tour, fantastic performance, brilliant show, and best of all was really near the front.

Other than that the rest of the concerts I've been to were firmly in the Cock-Rock genre and I wont disgrace myself by mentioning any names.
