  1. Past hour
  2. The media/press overlords won’t allow it.
  3. I've still got that one as well, although my lad seems to have decided he's got dibs on it now! Proving their quality by virtue they're 30 years old next month!
  4. Me too with the old version of the score draw tag when they must've been starting out. That's where I got mine, about £17 including the postage. I've tried it on but never worn it so can't say if it's any more durable than it's score draw counter part? (I reckon the same people make them, umbro for dh gate companies, no umbro for score draw).
  5. HMHM checking his new strip purchase
  6. Had loads of them as a kid in the 80s and every single one suffered from the badges peeling off I seem to remember
  7. I’ve still got mine. Tempted by a fake maroon / blue hoops away version.
  8. Think I had a score draw Brazil / Pele one as a cliched student wanker back in the 90s
  9. Aye tbh my chinese one is class tbh - I’m assuming it was a chinese as it was a gift. But yeh the originals are a different kettle of fish, probably the last shirts we had made in england!
  10. The re-release had the three stripes slightly misaligned and once you see it you can't unsee it. For £90 it went back.
  11. I wore my original 95/96 grandad collar shirt to Covent Garden in March and had one bloke, utterly wrecked, state "I can tell by the faded crest and brown ale badge that's one of the £40 originals and not the piss-poor attempt at a re-release the club are doing for more than double that!" He wasn't wrong like
  12. Yeh I have had a couple down the years. One I bought as an experiment and some I received as gifts from unsuspecting relatives who’ve just ordered something online. Fake doesn’t seem the right word for the older replicas. At lot of the more front facing sites (as linked above) will just be ordering them direct from China anyway - same place as DH Gate. For £50 it can feel a risk, but if I were you I’d search Newcastle United on DH Gate & you’ll get the same shirt delivered for £13 from China Quality wise I dont think the 80s shirts will leave a lot to be desired as the quality wasn’t there anyway. The weight of the fabric on the 90s shirts is a little lighter but its not Im bothered about.
  13. I've got the short sleeved version, it's a very good copy of it albeit not perfect a la the material, put it this way, it's basically the score draw version with added umbro diamonds down the sleeve and on the front of the shirt.
  14. In terms of that article though, it does sound positive. Someone needs to bloody create a strong left wing voice so I'm fully behind anyone that does. They need to find a way to ramp up their relevance though.
  15. Today
  16. I read about it a few years back. Rumour was he got into a row with the ship's captain and ended up in the drink as a result IIRC which was all suspicious as Ted was supposedly the most placid of blokes. Any money the skipper was rum monster with a fucking raging temper and got angry with himself never mind those around him. Tragic.
  17. Have you got one Tom? I don't necessarily mean that shirt, but one of the fake ones. The Score Draw stuff niggles me that they omit the manufacturing logo - I realise it's a licencing issue but I'd rather get the real fake shit that don't care if they get sued by the likes of Umbro.
  18. My friend, I have given you a like. Valuable online currency.
  19. You can find in excellent condition all over Ebay/Vinted etc, sometimes even new. The Score Draw ones are more common & basically the same. It’s a shame the club priced Toffs out of it and nobody has stepped up to replace them.
  20. Tbh the fake ones are class quality. It you wanted a real one you’d have pay at least 10 x the amount I suppose.
  21. I'm sorely tempted to get one of these. It'll be fake as fuck but as near as damn it to one of the best NUFC shirts ever produced. Retro Newcastle LS Home Shirt 1980/1982 | Club Retros
  22. I always find a ball-gag works wonders with consent as they just can’t say no.
  23. 0800 5318008. Put me on speed daal.
