Burn and Schar are both 33 now and we really don't have anyone else in the way of options in the centre of defence so I'd be extremely concerned if we lost Sven. I'm not convinced Barnes is going to be happy dropping back behind Gordon, even with the prospect of European football next season (there were noises about him wanting to be away in January anyway) so he's much more dispensable imo. Of course if we thought Botman will have ongoing injury problems then it might be more acceptable to move him on but it would certainly cause us problems.

If PSG were going to give us megabucks for Botman I’d probably go for that. I think he’s class but he’s been injured a fair bit. I realise we’d then really need to be looking at bringing in two CBs this summer if that happened. I also realise it’s probably bollocks

There's literally nothing you can do. You can be the most vocal activist in the country and it won't change a damn thing. The only two actors who can stop this are Israel and the US. Not to go all Gemmill but sometimes burying your head in the sand is the best thing to do.

I can't think of much worse for your mental state than watching stuff like that. The people that need to see stuff like that are the people that could do something about it, but aren't.
