  1. Past hour
  2. Or more accurately, let's not spend £30m+ to find out cos can we fuck afford an expensive mistake.
  3. Watching a documentary called "Turning Point: The Vietnam War". I've always been shamefully ignorant of this conflict and period in US history, despite Paul Hardcastle. It covers the politics, the war itself, it's impact on society and civil rights. Clearly the US has always been fucked up.
  4. Liam Delap would be the ideal pick to backup Isak but he’ll have a lot of suitors. he might want regular football to progress as well.
  5. Ohhhh someone feeling a little delicate because everyone has poo pood your idea that DCL is a no no?
  6. Aye. Let’s write a 20 year old off because it hasn’t worked out at a club. NO ONE in the history of football has ever come back from that.
  7. Aye Brighton love developing young talent. It's their business model. But they've given up on Ferguson.
  8. Xabi Alonso replacing Ancelotti at Real Madrid. Spurs and Man Utd will be fighting over Ancelotti I reckon
  9. It is indeed, Mt Surabachi that well known mountain on Iwo Jima strasse downtown Berlin.
  10. And he’s been farmed out to West Ham because a 34 year old Danny Welbeck is ahead of him
  11. https://worldsoccerpins.com/historical-football-crests-england/?amp Tons of clubs have gone for an updated round crest btw
  12. Also a perfect time to get 1882 shoehorned onto the badge!

  15. We're also not American, we are not yet that debased. Farage is demonstrably aligned with Trump and Putin, two figures hated here. In the US they liked the Apprentice and half don't even know who Putin is. Farage is on record as saying he wants shot of the most treasured institution in the UK, the NHS. I think it suited Labour to let Reform eat the Tories last election, but it won't next one when the gloves are off. It's a long, long way away. Anything could happen, most likely Reform won't be able to keep any semblance of professionalism iyam.
  16. Tbh, that's almost certainly better than what we'll end up with.
  17. Mate, they’re blatant and obvious manipulative snake oil salesmen. They’re telling enough people precisely what they want to hear though. That’s what Trump knew and did. We’re not immune because we’re British.
  18. It's mental because the schools don't have enough staff as it is, but they're laying permanent staff off and replacing them with supply teachers and newly qualifieds (who will probably leave teaching within 5 years anyway because it's such a broken profession) cos it's cheaper. It's such a fucking mess. The schools obviously don't want to do it, but they're in an impossible position because their budgets are fixed and the govt is telling them to magic up pay rises from an unchanging total. It's criminal.
  19. There's only one City, all others are just pale imitations
