My legs are fucked. I played a game of football on holiday about 6 weeks ago and knacked my hip flexor. Played again at home about 3 weeks ago and pulled a hammy. That healed and I managed to well and truly fuck my achilles last week. My right ankle is twice the size of my left still. Both legs just fucking ache from top to bottom at the minute and I don't know why. Calves are tender as fuck. I think I might have to finally retire!

Must be the weird London pull although I'm never sure how players want to go to Manchester either as the place is an absolute shit hole. It's closer to London and might have better transport links from the airport but I much prefer Newcastle as a city (and I don't live in it).

This is obviously just anecdotal but my own experience backs this up. I wasn't on SSRI's for all that long in the grand scheme of things, but did go through three different types when I was really suffering from pretty severe depression. Fluoxetine (Prozac) really fucked me up, it basically sent me into a manic for about 2 or three months, barely sleeping and waking up feeling like someone had shot speed into my eyeballs. Ironically, my prior experience with actual amphetamines and uppers was almost the opposite. Really worried quite a lot of my family. GP suggested doubling the dose and I went along with it, no prizes for guessing how that panned out. I forget the name of the second one we tried, but it was ultimately sertraline that seemed to work as intended and pull me out of that headspace enough to get back to functioning mostly normally day to day. Sertraline also really helped Mrs B massively with post-natal depression. I know quite a lot of people who are prescribed it or have been prescribed it and almost all of them feel it's been beneficial. Except for one really close friend who was on a really high dose (200 or 300mg) and ended up with pretty severe agoraphobia. It really fucking sucked seeing someone who was always such a socialite suddenly having full-blown panic attacks over the mere thought of leaving his house. Modern medicine is great but I do think that finding the right one is less likely to happen if you cant properly advocate for yourself, or have someone close who can advocate for you, especially with shit that literally intended to affect your brain chemistry.

yeah...I thought he was younger than that....

Not the point though. He got what he felt was a better offer. Last year's summer window would've looked vastly different if we'd signed him. No pointless chasing of Guehi would've meant we'd have likely got someone to play on the right... How did Etikike get on after he declined a move to us then sat on the bench at PSG?..again the point is he passed on us. So have quite a few others. Not sure if we put a bid in for Kvaratskhelia but we were linked with him long before anyone else was. We do seem to identify good young talent with Nickson & his team but we're not top of the list for many of them to join tbh.

thank you Ant! please. Quiff is gone for good. It’s safe now

Isn’t Tosin about 27?
-
chel just have to wait and sea how he develops
-
Still dipping his Tosin IMO
-
Tosin has hardly pulled up trees at Chelsea tbf.
-
Fair question
-
If a player is cheap and foreign they're also likely to be inexperienced . Think Howe maybe wants premier league proven in certain positions. The young ones have turned us down lately, eg Kushanov, Tosin..there are others...

Going to San Sebastián on Thursday, want your jaw testing?

yeah, he’s not an out and out winger in the way Elanga is but he has played out there. Elanga can play off either flank too so both signings make sense in terms of squad depth because they’re both versatile. Tbh, neither of them would be my first choice. Semenyo has been rumoured to be up for sale for a similar price to what forest want for Elanga. I like Pedro but also can’t help but think there is better value available abroad. But if Howe wants them, fair fucks. He knows more than I do.

We won’t make it to Bilbao. Eating my way through pintxos in San Sebastián, then going back to Bordeaux to restock with red wine…

@Dr Gloom go to 6:50 on that video. I agree with this lad about Pedro, not sure if I've seen him play wide too often. I've seen him at 10 and 9. If we get Elanga and don't sell anyone we don't really need him to cover the flanks either. That's an absolute best case scenario obviously...
-
yeah, he makes total sense for that reason. can also play as number 10 if howe wants the option of playing 4-2-3-1. however, he is expensive and a lot of his goals have been pens but i like the idea of another brazilian in the mix
-
Possibly but I think someone that could do a shift up there (in the ilk of Gordon) might be desirable in the RW search.
-
If we get Pedro Im not sure we will sign another striker on top of him. He's got 30 goals in 70 games for Brighton, which beats anyone in our squad bar Isak.
-
Probably the exact reason we are after Pedro tbf. He can play across the front 3 like Gordon, but is much better at CF than him.

Enjoy strawb mate. Get your feet up and enjoy the food and drink!

I’ve never touched the smack actually

like i said what happened to the chump? did he finally tire of making himself look a monumental tit?
