  1. Past hour
  2. It's the real life story of her break up with her deviant husband David Harbour (lead actor from stranger things) and her subsequent mental deterioration. It's brilliant imo, like some kind of graphic horror novel in audio book form set to music. Here's a lyric sample.
  3. Today
  4. Try this... think CT smokes bong iirc Don't know much of Ms Allen's work apart from her single Smile which must be .....at least 15 years ago? Quite liked that. Is the new album full of what we pop crazed youngsters might call "bangers"?...
  5. So I'm in an album club with my old work still and it's a really good way of experiencing music you wouldn't normally listen to. Anyway, I can't be bothered to drill down to the context of this post, but it sounds like the structure to Lily Allen's Smile? And anyway again, her new album, West End girl, is absolutely sublime imo. The narrative arc is epic, the lyrics are brilliant, the music is varied and interesting. Not often you get an album that tells a real life story as honestly as this. Listen to the lyrics of Pussy Palace and get that in your head as an ear worm. I can never watch stranger things in the same light again either, the dirty bastard.
  6. And Cardiff iirc. South Shields is north of Newcastle city centre. Some of Norway is east of Istanbul. Alaska is the most northerly, westerly and easterly US state.
  7. Look, I made the word up, it means the death of nine out of ten because I say so, therefore can you kindly sort of Romani ite domum and butticus outiccus.
  8. Would meme? As in I would fuck that old man?
  9. No, but then again you don't tip off the opposition about who may or may not be struggling a bit unless it's obvious from injuries picked up in a previous game.
  10. that's because trippier hasn't been taking everything anymore.
  11. was there any.mention of this knock to the knee prior to sunday's horror show? I thought howe looked and sounded really pissed off when he was questioned on why elanga had started ahead of murphy at the end of his press conference.
  12. This bloke is getting some unfair stick IMO, if we had players who could deliver consistent balls where they're supposed/designed to go then we'd have a better idea what he's about. I would add we've actually scored from some set plays this season when delivery's been good, unlike last season (and before).
  13. Murphy's carrying a knock (knee) so not so sure he'll start, I would rather Elanga provides aforementioned cross (we know what Murph can do), would do him the world of good.
  14. Been there, seen it, done it. Dodged the C bullet!! Back next year for next check.
  15. 50 on Sunday, an invitation to the NHS bowel cancer screening programme on the Wednesday...
  16. I think we were trying to evolve into a more possession based side even before Isak disappeared up his own arse. I don't understand the Elanga transfer, but Ramsey, Thiaw, Ramsdale, Wissa, Woltemade all fit a more possession based side.
  17. If Wissa is decent it will make a huge difference to our ability to use balls into the box. Woltemade, even more so now he is completely knackered, just isn't that player. Hopefully with someone making those runs Elanga and Gordon, but especially Murphy will become more effective and be able to feed them Could also leave a bit more space for us in midfield as well have pace in behind in the middle Even though it's been a hard watch I think its difficult to underestimate how damaging not having Wissa has been
  18. There's something wrong. It's very likely the Isak hangover. We're still set up to feed him but we're trying to doing it in slow motion. Howe needs to change. He's a stubborn bastard. This isnt ideal in any way shape or form...
  19. This is just a reboot of the “Would” meme, with added Chanclas
  20. As much as Farage hates it, the UK is very left-leaning. Edinburgh is west of Bristol and Liverpool.
  21. If you don't think of this country as vertical, and judge all other countries relatively, then I'd like to know why you hate your country so much.
  22. As are we. Newcastle is West of Southampton.
  23. No, because the new manager would wantvTo even more new players. I think you're getting WAY ahead of yourself with some of what you're suggesting. I think we have an ownership that think about things over a MUCH longer time horizon that most other owners. I don't think they'll make any rash decisions based on short term concers. They'll need Hopkinson and Wilson to be telling them that this is a hopeless situation, and we're a long way from that.
