  1. Past hour
  2. Back 4 Big Dan left Tino right looks ok Gordon & Barnes could be lethal on the left together leaving Murphy to give them bother on the right
  3. If things don’t go our way today I suspect we’re most likely fucked regardless tbh @Gemmill Today was the day to play Big Joe if we could, especially now with more injuries. I don’t expect to see him again this season. I could be wrong of course probably am but I don’t think we’d have played a back three if we hadn’t had the injuries. Howe tinkers very seldom. And Chelsea are shit. In a straight up fight we win. Don’t need to pull a surprise or play funny buggers with weird tactics. I dunno. Have we gone conservative to settle for a draw? Or try to at least. It’s a bit of a concern. Also have to worry about when we knew Tripps and Willock would miss the game. Hopefully all week so they’ve managed to prepare this setup. I’d say that has happened. So we have a chance. But it definitely isn’t ideal.
  4. See Howe saying Joelinton went to Barcelona last week for an injection in his knee. I wonder if we'll be breaking the emergency glass next weekend if things don't go our way today.
  5. I think that might be someone else's joke from last time it was posted btw, so apols if it was someone on here.
  6. This must be injury related with Tripps and Willock not selected on the bench. Combined with missing Big Joe this makes me very nervous now.
  7. There was something in the Guardian yesterday, a headline saying Starmer was bigging up "much closer ties", but what he calls that and what we would call it are usually miles apart, so we'll see.
  8. Aye Trippier (calf) and Willock (thigh) both injured - not serious ones. Definitely some tactical changes there though, so maybe he would have done this anyway.
  9. Hopefully. It's mad like, I saw a survey this week where 3 times as many people wanted closer ties with the EU compared with the US. The large majority of people want FoM if you explain it to them. Nows the ideal time you cowardly bastards.
  10. That’s what it is, I’d call it 3/5/2, think it’s been done to swamp midfield and put pressure of Lavia. Stop him, stop Chelsea? 🤷🏻‍♂️

  12. Am getting more nervous as we're getting nearer (currently Longbenton). D1, the infallible good luck charm including the Carabao Cup, is doing gymnastics trials so I'm with D2 who doesn't have the same psychic energy, although hardly a bad record. We've done so well recently it's kind of surprising things are still in the balance. We've won 7/13 against these mercenary cunts at SJP in the league though. Howay you magnificent bastards, fcuk them up!
  13. Hope against hope that this is a prelude to some sort of much improved deal with the EU but probably not.
  14. Thing is, there are millions of "British" people who could potentially do these jobs but won't be able to in practice because for want of a better expression they're a waste of oxygen. The amount of charvers who are young and basically unemployable who will just be a burden on the state their entire lives. A legacy ultimately from the Thatcher years. The only answer now is immigration. Of course FoM was a much better option but we fucked that up too.
