  1. Past hour
  2. Didnt show an ounce of fight in the previous 90 mins. Out fought all game. Some of them are just too fucking nice!
  3. benfica we're shite but still had good opportunities. the belgian team were fucking shite, bradford were probably better. think we probably.used up all our fight getting it back to 2-2 against the murderers. today was fucking inexcusable, probably the most pathetic performance in the last 10 league games against them. no hiding for any of the cunts at this moment in time. gordon give it the big one about mentality after the leverkusen game and he was arguably worse than elanga today. again... no hiding place for any of the cunts, including howe
  4. I think we’d have more points on the board if Wissa didn’t get injured either. Just enjoy the season lads. We’ve still got the domestic cups and a chance of qualifying for Europe. i can’t see us getting back in the Cl next season.
  5. The Union game we were average & scored two pens. Benfica you are right. We battered them and played well but their winger could have scored twice (hitting the post) and we looked shaky until midway through second half. Dominated spurs in the cup. We're not a good outfit to watch anymore. It's either operate at 20% and conserve energy but lose or edge out teams at home after fancying it for a burst. Howe is battling to juggle 55-60 games a season. Still feels like we don't have the squad for it either. Isak the rat bastard has bummed us. Glad he's suffering as a result but we are not a fluid attacking outfit at all at the moment, despite scoring 15 goals in our last 8 games.
  6. I honestly think it's by design to try and preserve energy because of the number of games, we need to fuck that off and if that means playing partial second XI's here and there so be it.
  7. Fuck all the way off back to Pennywell.
  8. We seem to go through spells with Intensity now. Start either on fire then stop. Score then gain intensity and stop. I don't think this is also all on Nick. Isak would have games where he wouldn't touch the ball and we were miles better. Something has changed and it's odd. Recruitment in Jan could be very crucial in our season.
  9. Our intensity needs a kick up the arse, playing in third gear isn't doing us any favours, if we start getting players crocked so be it, our depth (alleged) should mitigate that more than in our last CL season. Better to go down in flames than as a damp cloth.
  10. Aye, I don't particularly invest in the rivalry anyway other than a Brexit driven disdain for their city, but would any of us trade places with them? Course we wouldn't. So in the end, who gives a fuck that we scored a goal for them to win a game against us.
  11. Happy Birthday Gemmill, you officially old taxi-rank dodgeball. I’m now home, making tea for the family, and have moved on to the next game. The morlocks will be having a village-wide early Christmas, when the truth is they were as shite as we were.
  12. It’s obviously the change in play. We were deadly on the counter last season but we’ve got an immobile striker and haven’t worked out the best way to play. I’m hoping Wissa can start soon. Big Nick has been great but we just aren’t a constant goal threat with him in the team.
  13. Happy birthday. Have a lovely rest of your day. Sounds like a lovely one. Do post some pics after it gets setup if you can! Been thinking about getting myself a Strat for a while now, but no idea what to go for exactly. It's a very fun and expensive hobby at times.
  14. We were decent against Benfica and the Belgian team in the CL. Spurs in the cup we were at our best. Literally only Man City and Everton games have been top performances in the league.
