  1. I see Bolton have just signed a centre back and a striker, one on loan, one permenent. From FC Senec, Zotlan Hasanyi and Lubomir Michelik. Nee idea who they are like.
  2. They probably should own him first... They probably have first option on making the deal a permenent one, and if they have that then I'd imagine they'd take it up.
  3. I'll believe it when he's stood next to Glen with a toon shirt in hand.
  4. Nah lyke, popwarld lyke, it's tha tits. Or BOOM!
  5. Good call on the Crown Posada although it is impossible to get in, or impossible to get out if you get through to the back and then some fat bloke comes and stands by the bar. Also good shout on the Ouseburn bars, get some really random bands on in the Tyne, some very canny some just a bit odd. I'll throw the Bridge Hotel in especially on a summer afternoon, and the Telegraph for the same reason. We've forgotten the Vineyard! Bliddy hell. Mind there's a reason for forgetting.
  6. Absolutely spot on. I think I quite like it as well. Been on Radio 2 every morning this week.

  8. Stereo has gone downhill, used to be great though. Popollos is canny if it's not over busy. It's usually full of utter tossers like. For me, The Forth (though it's getting too busy as well), Head of Steam (getting worse though), North, or Tilleys (probably my favourite bar at the moment). Bodega or Bachuss for a nice quiet pint and a bit of crack or the Hotspur or the Newcastle Arms if I'm in that area of town. Or the Trent obviously. As for clubs probably Digital on a Thursday night or World Headquarters, haven't been clubbing in yonkers though and when me mates want to go they usually want to go the fucking Badgers.
  9. Dundundundun dundundundun dundunderderderdeder
  10. Thus creating a massive resevoir over most of Tyneside, the river won't just stop running will it?
  11. That doesn't sound particularly hilarious! Having said that I do know what it feels like and it isn't particularly funny, but it was the fact that he obviously thought he'd be able to stand on it when the physio must surely have realised fairly quickly that it was completely crocked.
  12. Twas, well, quite funny, when he tried to stand on it and you saw it buckle at the point of fracture and he went down like a sack of shit. You have to wonder about the conversation between the physio and Savage. "I think it could be broken" "Nonsense, I'll just run it off" "Well, try and stand up then" "OK, watch this.....ah bollocks"
  13. Probably be alright if we could find someone with a decent football brain. Yeah I though that would be the tricky part.
  14. Perhaps if we took parts from each centre half and put them together we might have a semi decent defender. Bit like Wierd Science but with mediocre players. Not sure which bit you take from which like.
  15. Reading Luke Rhinehart's "The Dice Man" (again)
  16. Oh and with relation to the actual thread (which isn't a "I'm fatter than you but I only eat dust and drink diet coke" thread even though it's heading that way) I saw one of the fattest people I have ever seen in the away end against Spurs just before Christmas. He got some abuse, then the main abuser got hoyed out, even though of the crack before then was of a highly dubious antisemetic nature and neeone batted an eyelash. Seems fattism is being cracked down on harder and harder these days.
  17. 5'11" and about 14 stones plus. Never go on the scales so I'm going for a wild guesstimate. Not that I regularly measure my height either, I just don't think I'm quite 6 foot. Editted for admitting the truth. It's the first step.
  18. Agree with that, I would have him on the right with Milner on the left tbh. Gives him more space to attack and allows for a bit more movement.
