  1. I had to endure Radio 1 at work today. I heard a cover of Common People on Fearne Cotton's show but have no idea who it was. It was OK, but nowhere near Pulp's original. And who sings that song that goes on about 'there will be trouble when the kids' come out'. It's a sort of mix of Personal Jesus and Feel Good Inc.?
  2. Paul Ince of Notts County and Chris Powell of Charlton are the only black bosses currently at league clubs. Which makes sense to me. At anyone time there are 4 or 5 black managers of 92 clubs generally, which seems right, when 4% of the population is black. Black English managers are generally shit anyway, look at John Barnes, and what a success Ince made of Blackburn. I always thought Ian Wright would be a good manager but he hasn't chosen that path. Appointing a black, British manager can be a PR disaster. You get faint praise for hiring them, and you get crucified if you sack them whatever their results. Just look at Oliver Holt's horse shit after we ditched Ince. Ewood Park's floodlights were allegedly burning crosses and so on. It'll be the only way Ince and Barnes will get an interview in the future.
  3. He makes Heskey look like Gerd Muller. And did I read that correctly? Gullit thought he could be better than Shearer???!!
  4. That chav family live near where I work.
  5. Bet she doesn't have lobsters up her arse though.
  6. You mean the FPTP system that has brought us the current coalition? The current system has also produced such results as a virtual dictatorship under Blair, a party system that has MPs being little more than livestock following orders, creates safe seats where a party can put forward any old mong, and wastes the majority of votes? AV won't be so radically different to FPTP when compared to say STV or the National List, and isn't that hard to understand. Those who say we should stick with FPTP because we can't fathom reform is a condescending, patronising twat who wants to keep the plebs stupid and obedient.
  7. At least you'll be sorted for KFC and a fishing rod when the mood is broken.
  8. She didn't get through. Thanks for voting those who did.
  9. Ewood Park circa 1979. Hong Kong Stadium, a personal favourite.
  10. With mansions for the 'gypsy king' types who head up the clan. All funded by robbing eyeties, Spaniards and anyone else they meet. Oh, and don't forget to borrow a hat from Jeremy Clarkson.
  11. I'm not having a dig but I don't see what social class has to do with which films you should and shouldn't like. Do you think Royalty are supposed to like Trainspotting?? I bet Liz and old Phil had the truffles and cognac out watching it in 1996. "One feels Begbie's a bit of a cunt". I think you're basically saying working class bamps like a certain type of film, which generalises more than someone saying muslims are all terrorists. I liked Football Factory because of how cringeworthy and removed from real life football violence the scenes were, and also the absolutely hilarious dialogue. A film is either good or it isn't. I can watch period drama's which you probably feel are targeted at middle class champions like yourself and I really enjoy them, by the same token, I can watch Rita, Sue and Bob too and think you know what it's a shit film but I really enjoyed that. Is that in a 'so bad it's good' way Stevie? You can't top Steven Seagal films on that front. Under Seige 2 and Belly of the Beast are bang on for that. I'm going to have to root around to try and find my copy of Frost/Nixon. Haven't got round to that yet.
  12. I've actually never heard the original.
  13. He still is . Donald Trump needs to publish the origins of his hair before questioning such matters about Obama. Either way, Trump is a grade A cunt who boasts about how many people he's sacked etc.
  14. No, but the rebels have advanced as far as Ras Lanuf, and have it's oil refinery intact. They could perhaps sell oil to the Chinese for weapons on the sly. However, it's Gaddafi's back yard from now on, so they'd need better weapons and organisation. There is also a story from the Saudis that France are talking to Gaddafi's son so he can replace him and form a transitional government involving the rebels for a few years. In return, the Gaddafi family will be allowed to avoid prosecution etc. The leak was well timed as it has come just after a rapid advance from the rebels.
  15. I fucking hate her. She should to be a lodger at Joseph Fritzl's house.
  16. She may be overweight and ginger, but I'd still do Adele. And I agree with Besty, all the women on the Halifax ads would be angry hate fucks. And with Sepultura's version of Orgasmatron as backing music.
  17. You mean some sort of 'West' vs. 'Islam' thing? Better crack open the solar powered B-2s piloted by 7 foot sex godesses then.
  18. Thanks. It'll be the big final next week, which may be a problem. The critics on the show are not that keen on her clothes, but the public apparently are. She'd prefer it that way round as itwould mean more money.
  19. I hope McLaren can salvage something out of the start of the season. It's really looking like they ballsed up with the fancy exhaust system. I hope Vettel crashes on the first corner too.
  20. Make it up Toonraider. Or give an old address. That's what I do.
  21. I would attempt to disagree with you and stick up for her, but she is my cousin and saying she's attractive just feels wrong. Anyway, thanks for voting.
  22. Missed the reference about the bees Parky. I've never seen any 7 foot blonde alien women about town, so they probably don't live in Coventry or Exeter. Who's rating them anyway? David Icke?
  23. So these aliens right, Do they more or less look like us? If so, is Dakota Fanning one of them? She looks a bit creepy and otherworldly to me. And haveall the bees gone too?
