  1. Getting pets is the beginning of the end to relationships. I didn't want to say anything to Strawb at the time but I knew the split was in the post once he got the dog. Look at Gemmill as well with the cats, man. Whatever you do in the future, if you get a lass, get her up the stick before you introduce a pet in the home. Relationship killers!
  2. Allardyce hasn't a fucking clue how to go for wins. He basically plays for the draw, hopes they score from somewhere and they hold on or catch the team on the break if that team is particularly shit and wide open looking for an equaliser. I don't like the form book of the clubs they're playing but I do know the mindset of Sunderland. They struggle to break down teams they've a chance of beating.
  3. I never heard it and I went to just about every home and a good few aways back then.
  4. He's been terrible at waving his hands like a distressed geriatric man while telling De Jong to slow down coming off the pitch.
  5. Hasn't said 'trast me' or 'let me tell you' enough, either.
  6. Definitely not, although the 'proper' term I was thinking more of Souness.
  7. Doesn't use the word 'proper' enough when describing players. Nor use the word 'men' enough.
  8. Needs to work on his offering fans on then not showing his face when they turn up, as well.
  9. Definitely. He hasn't got his head round that one yet.
  10. Never, ever, ever have I heard that Mickey Quinn song although I have read that we sang it. I'm going to take a stab in the dark here and say it's a made up story. (We did sing the 'mighty Quinn' tune to him and that was good).
  11. Singing Boro's pigbag goal celebration record everytime we scored against them was pretty amusing.
  12. The shola song was class, especially as it was usually sang after he'd scored.
  13. That used to piss me off more than it does now. I hate the verrry slowwww 'when the spurs/saints go marching in' and despise that 'I will follow him' record that Palace and a few other divvie clubs sing. Quite impressed by the odd songs you hear from Scot clubs and Scotland to be fair. The Blaydon Races is class, toon toon black and white army is not. Think our songbook is pretty shite now, tbh.
  14. It's a point gained as they usually get beat by arsenal. Sent from my mobile phone using the keyboard thingy.
  15. Was pissed yesterday for the game and am going out tonight as I'm off tomorrow. I'm already dreading tomorrow morning as I've been shitting through the eye of a needle today.
  16. Which songs of other clubs get on your thruppenny bits? Any songs from other clubs you think aren't bad? Which NUFC song do you like the best and which song do you wish they'd fuck off from chanting?
  17. One bad point of Rafa's is his lack of ability to produce cheesey grins when we get beat.
  18. I know! When will British managers get some credit? Look at Pards! Hounded out but doing a steady job at Palace.
  19. When are the media going to give Mark Hughes some credit? If he wasn't British they'd be shouting praise from the rooftops.
  20. I always fancy Arsenal at the SoL. Plus think you'll see some Mackem nerves.
  21. Is Palinka your new Czech girlfriend?
  22. I think 7 points and we stay up, personally, 9 and I'm sure we will. Can see the mackems winning maybe one plus a couple of draws.
  23. Remember being gutted I wasn't at Anfield when Dinha put the winner in as my away crowd were there yet happy at the same time. Hard to explain now, but beating boro 3-1 down Ayresome with years without a win plus them being in the new shiny PL with us a league lower was fucking immense. Especially with them having to give us a fair share of tickets with it being a cup game as league games they'd give us fuck all the horrible Yorkshire cunts.
