I don't think he actually sold his shares but he would have if he could've convinced the rest of the board to do the same I think.
-
Riise isn't good enough at LB, decent going forward but I've always thought him a bit suspect defensively.
-
As far as I'm aware Dein wasn't solely responsible for the budget.
-
Where exactly do the fat jibes come from? I've never seen him carrying any weight.
-
If you had've just followed my advice in your other thread you wouldn't be having this problem. FACT.

Was in Liverpool for a stag do and he stayed in the same hotel as us. We started having a bit craic with him, he signed autographs and spoke to the fatha of one of my mates on the phone. The next morning him and his mates were coming out the hotel whilst we were waiting for a couple of stragglers and they asked what we were doing. When we said going to try and find a Bar thats open he said hang on then we'll come with you. He was wearing a lasses dress and his mate only had a towel around him. When we were walking along the street a little scouse kid came up to him and said 'I knew you always fought like a girl Ricky' Hatton was pissing himself. He was a top lad with no edge on him whatsoever, really down to earth. I liked him before meeting him but now i have the utmost respect for the lad as a person and a fighter and i just hope he gets out of it unhurt and whilst he's on top. That pic of him in a dress appeared in the sun later that week. Ricky Hatton walking up the street in a dress with a bloke in a towel and a dwarf, now that's got to be a surreal sight.

Aye but if it was up to you we wouldn't have a transfer market as you're sure that no one is moving anywhere.
-
I don't know why he ever would've even thought about giving up the sun, CL and trophies to join a club like us, Bolton or Portsmouth.
-
As much as he is a complete twat the article is right, we do need a bit of continuity. I'd let him stay for another season then show him the door.

We've finally got Stevie's source.

Always a problem in judging U-21 talent, or even assessing players at international level. Until you see them in the PL it's hard to guess how they'll do.
-
Aye but everyone's face isn't readily available. I've only seen a couple of members' faces i.e. those that put their pic up. I don't think it's right to put a pic up of someone who hasn't expressly stated their willingness to have their photo posted. Although I believe it's ok to post your artist's impression? BTW I gather there's a seperate section/area for those who have gone to/attended piss ups?
-
I thought it was shite. You'd be right.
-
Still I wouldn't advise posting anyone's face on the internet without their permission. Unless they're call SwindonMag (can anyone tell me what happened there as I don't have a clue ).
-
Now I wish I'd seen the pic. Not that I've any clue what the pic was of.

Have you got bad credit? CCJ's? Or just can't get a loan? Call Toplass @ Ocean Finance. "Josh!, Dad's found ya scooooooooottttaaaaa!".
-
What the fuck are you on about? Press Num Lock?
-
Didn't he turn out to be a bit of a fraud?
-
Magma take note.

Though this mightn't neccesarily be the end of the team, Fulham pulled the plug on their ladies team who then managed to continue self-funded.
-
As far as I'm aware they can't be run as seperate entities as it is the men's game which subsidises the women's teams. If Charlton, who had a very successful ladies team, aren't profitable then I can't see there being too many that are. Without the money from 'proper' football the women's game wouldn't exist.
-
How much would it realistically cost to run a women's team? Seems a bit unfair on them.
-
I'm apprehensive about Sam's ability in the transfer market, his previous tactics seems to be to get ten players in on frees or for very little and hope that 2 or 3 of them are decent and nobody mentions the rest of them, he can't do that now that he has money to spend.

I still don't understand why he signed a new contract last summer knowing that he'd be playing 2nd fiddle to Cole.
