  1. I think both of us were referring to his beef offering below.
  2. Couldn't we have had him for around £6m before Euro 2004? Only Freddy said no?
  3. Firstly, why exactly is he doing an interview with Zoo? Secondly, has anyone got pics of the photo shoot? And finally, I don't want to take Beckham on loan for a couple of months.
  4. Well thinking about that one it could work. No actually it sounds fucking awful.
  5. This one has my vote, not only because of the lack of homness in the ingredients used and the fact that unlike some other suggestions they're likely to be found in any reasonably sized supermarket but the fact that it also doesn't take an hour to make one fucking sandwich. As the only independent voice in here PP is win.
  6. Aye, complete with no source. Looks like Owen will be staying then.

    Bernard Manning

Shinton will be beside himself that his role model has pegged it.

    Memory Stick Pro Duo

It's happened me a couple of times with USB memory sticks when I take them out without stopping them, formatting fixed the problem for me.
  9. It's the typical British media hype. Aye he seems to be in a very good car but he's still outperforming Alonso so he's obviously doing something right.

Are you the only bloke left per chance? You see what they're doing there?

  12. Fucking hell, there's a lot of people taking their sandwiches way too seriously.
  13. Right, so do you reckon he's held down a starting poisition for Man U, Real Madrid and England for so long purely because of who his wife is? I agree that his off-pitch life has greatly increased the hype around him but ignoring that he is still a very good player. Basically all he has is a right foot but it's a very fucking good right foot and he makes the best out of it through his application and hard work in every game. Beckham managed to survive the cull of the galacticos because he was about more than a bit of skill and a lot of hype, he put in a lot of hard graft as well. I think the fact that he has got as far as he has without being naturally blessed is a testament to the guy, he's had to work hard and improve his game and no doubt has spent countless hours practising crosses and freekicks because at the end of the day that's what he does. It mightn't be as pretty as watching Zidane or Ronaldinho but it's effective.
  14. Seen the launch show and the "nigger" show, that's it. There's no one in there who seems to be a good laugh or in any way likeable, just seems to be a bunch of publicity whores.
  15. Last season the PL decided that the convention of knocking the ball out for an injured player was to stop and it was the referee's responsibility to decide whether play should be stopped. However this obviously doesn't apply to international football so it's difficult to say whether it had any influence on England's decision to play on. IMO the ball should only be put out of play if the opposing player is seriously injured.
  16. I'm not a big Beckham fan but I really admire the way he comes back from adversity. A few months ago he was facing the end of his career, excluded from the England squad and told he'd never again play for Real but a few months later he's back in the England team and provided assists and just won the league with Real deperate to hold onto him. It really is Roy of the Rovers stuff and while he could've said "fuck it" and went to America to pick up his money he instead put his head down, worked as hard as he could and is now reaping the rewards. Off the pitch many may question his hype and motives but on the pitch he has had to work for and earn all the plaudits that have come his way and fair play to him.
  17. Though they're not as bad as the Turks eh?
  18. That source certainly turned out to be ITK.
  19. The stats seem to disagree with you, during his time at Spurs anyway.
  20. £7m for an average player who has fallen out with his club is too much imo.
  21. For £90,000 I'd say it'll be settled out of court rather than Sam having the embarassment of having to give evidence and possibly uncover how bent his family really is.
  22. Happy Face in "taking films a bit too serious" shocker.
