Keegan, Beardsley Gazza and Waddle were my favourite growing up so I always had soft spot for Newcastle, but the love afair started when Keegan took over, it seemed a match made in heaven, I was heavily into playing SWOS in those days and always played as Newcastle and soon became obsessed.

Surprised you didn't go for: George Benson - 'The Greatest Love Of All I thought I'd stick to the "cheddar" section of the cheese rating, I wouldn't have dreamed of listing any "Stilton" titles 'Learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all' man. Do you see what I'm getting at? Are you calling me a wanker ?

Byrne tips Tozer to star for Toon Swindon Town caretaker manager David Byrne expects Ben Tozer to be a Premier League star at Newcastle United. The 17-year-old defender was due to hold talks and have a medical with the Magpies on Tuesday after the clubs agreed a fee. "Ben is a laid back character and sometimes that doesn't help him when he plays, but I knew I had a gem all along," Byrne told the club website. "There is no doubt in my mind that Tozer will make it in the Premiership." Byrne added: "He is one of the best youngsters I have ever worked with because he listens and does exactly what you want him to do on the pitch." Sounds like Bramble.

I think anyone taking more than 30 seconds to use a cash point should automatically receive a fatal electric shock.

Sense prevails ! Peter Jackson, Oscar-winning director of the Lord of the Rings movies, has signed a deal to produce two films based on JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit. The filmmaker had been in dispute with New Line Cinema over income generated by the first film in the Rings trilogy. "I'm very pleased that we've been able to put our differences behind us," said Jackson. "We are delighted to continue our journey through Middle Earth." A director for the films - prequels to the Rings movies - has yet to be named. The two Hobbit films will be filmed simultaneously, with their release planned for 2010 and 2011. 'New chapter' Sir Ian McKellen has already expressed an interest in reprising his role as the wizard Gandalf. In a statement, Jackson said the agreement enabled his Wingnut Films company to "begin a new chapter with our old friends at New Line". The three films in the Rings trilogy generated $3bn (£1.48bn) at the worldwide box office and won 17 Oscars. New Line co-chairman Bob Shaye had previously said Jackson would never make The Hobbit "during my watch".

To come: Chelsea x2 Man U x2 Liverpool away Arsenal away Pompey away Villa away Everton away Spurs (false position) away. Blackburn and Man City only teams above us played away. I'd say that was skewed list of fixtures compared with whats gone. Those are our future fixtures, we can only judge the past ones which haven't really been "easy". And in which we've performed better than last year. Judging by the performances so far I expect about 6 points from those games if we're lucky. We'd better not start losing against garbage at home. The same as we took from them last year then. You're hardly winning us over ! He expects us to do as well as we did last year against teams that are better than us, I expect us to get more than 6 points from those games. Either way we wouldn't have gone backwards. I think with the improvements in players, so called improvement in manager, and the undoubted improvement in back room staff, I would expect some signs of improvement, at least in performance if not result, but all I see is a worsening in performance, which I'm sure will be soon evident in our attendance figures.
