  1. I wouldn't wish that disease on anyone, but I can't stand the prick, his books belong firmly in the "once I put it down I couldn't pick it up" catagory.

  5. GLENN ROEDER will make another bid to persuade Newcastle to part with Shola Ameobi. Norwich boss Roeder, sacked by the Toon in May, will move for the striker when the January transfer window opens. But his replacement at St James’ Park Sam Allardyce is adamant nobody will leave next month as Obafemi Martins will be involved in the African Nations Cup. However with Michael Owen nearing fitness and Alan Smith being used as a striker, Roeder is hopeful he can push through a deal. Struggled Ameobi, 26, has hit 28 goals in 166 top-flight games. But he has struggled to establish himself as first-choice up front, with more than a third of his appearances made from the bench. Roeder is also keen on Newcastle defender Peter Ramage, who is currently sidelined after knee surgery. Ramage, 24, will not be fit for another three months but Roeder is prepared to wait until his current deal expires at the end of the season.

  10. i think he'll take the money and fight de la hoya next year at wembley. it wouldn't be the smartest move for him as a boxer as he's proven in his two fights at 147 lb that he's not a welterweight but can you imagine him being arsed about unifying the light welter division against the current champions at that weight? only witter would offer a half decent payday out of that lot and even then, it's not going to be in the same league as oscar. If its money than the De La Hoya fight would be the one to go for, although I think he'd probably lose that one too, De La Hoya is too big, he's been up as far as middleweight, and I wouldn't touch Witter with a barge pole he's far too slippery and could make Hatton look like a right idiot. i reckon hatton would drop witter personally. he's all mouth - who's he actually beaten? For me its not so much who he's beaten, more so the manner of which, he's so hard to hit like so many of the Brendan Ingle fighters and would probably beat Hatton in a similar manner to Mayweather in my opinion.

  13. Especially when he has just splashed £6m on one and is playing a left winger there.... i don't understand why he isn't playing enrique there more often. he's looked decent so far to me, while zoggy looks a far better bet further forward on the left wing - especially ahead of milner, who should be starting on the right ahead of the likes of geremi and smith. Its so fucking obvious, its a shame our fat loon of a manager can't see it too.
  14. There's nothing much more for Hatton to do, he had a go against the best and fell short, surely stepping back down to pick up his old title at light Welter would just be a retread, however I think I'd be tempted to bow out as a winner and a champion.
  15. Chin up dude, I'm sure he's smiling on you now.
  16. My daughter's class has just finished doing Pompeii as a theme, sounds like they really enjoyed that, can't go wrong with Volcanoes or Dinosaurs with kids that age.
