  1. Lee Rigby. Leaves behind a 2 year old kid. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-22644857
  2. Tried to check them out on Wikipedia. "In July 2009, Ricardo Gomes was replaced by former Cannes and Rennes coach Guy Lacombe, inheriting a youthful squad featuring numerous highly lauded youth team prospects, including Cédric Mongongu, Serge Gakpé, Vincent Muratori, Frédéric Nimani, Nicolas N'Koulou, Park Chu-Young, Yohan Mollo, and Yohann Thuram-Ulien.[12] Lacombe led Monaco to 8th place in Ligue 1 in his first season in charge, but he was unable to replicate this performance in his second season, and was sacked in January 2011, with Monaco in 17th place in Ligue 1. He was replaced by former coach Laurent Banide, who was unable to turn around the club's fortunes; Monaco finished the 2010–11 season in 18th position, thus becoming relegated to Ligue 2. They still are the worst team in France" Helpful.
  3. That's what it boils down to. I'd rank Gerrard, Scholes and Beckham and the top 3 in my lifetime. And they all came through in the 90's/early 00's
  4. Who's running the show there these days?
  5. Reported. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/sunderland-paolo-di-canio-reported-1901567
  6. Her player of the season has been there since January. "Louise Taylor Journalists reporting on Premier League teams being invited, as happens at certain European clubs, to eat training ground lunches with players as part of an obligatory extension of current weekly press conferences. With increased trust unlikely to be abused it could only erase paranoia, increase understanding and enhance coverage." Her change for next season is to be invited for dinner at training grounds? THAT'S what needs to be changed to make football better next year. Mind, Barney Ronay's "Relegate five teams" and Jamie Jackson's "Cameras in changing rooms, please" aren't much better.
  7. Giggs, Scholes, Keane, Beckham. That was a decent midfield. Technique wise he's probably the 2nd/3rd best England's produced since I started watching football in the late 90s. He's got a lot of admirable qualities but I reckon he falls just outside the "great" player bracket.
  8. They're the cunts for getting their hopes up in the first place. Cunt maybe harsh. They're idiots.
  9. Didn't see a single Hulk out there today.
  10. We've beat Chelsea and Tottenham at home, so it wasn't impossible. 10 goals conceded in the last 3 games at home. Ironic our away results kept us up.
  11. I'm not sure what you were expecting from todays game. Arsenal were the disappointing team.
  12. And the earlier it finishes the better it is??
  13. Who's wearing the Uggs? Torres?
  14. Most Improved. It's more of an insult than a compliment.
  15. Torres made hard work of that.
  16. No point in changing clothes for a photoshoot if you're shoulder is fucked. Raising his arm above his head will still cause agony.
  17. So it hasn't increased? What should we have paid for him?
  18. How good is this, MT? I prefer watching things on TV but was starting to get frustrated with ITV being so vague about when it was starting. Seen an advert for it today saying it's June 2013 so I'll just wait until next month.
  19. I'm friends with about 5 people I've had run ins with over the years. One of them hit me because I was talking to his girlfriend, even though I've been friends with her for about 8 years and she was standing about 10 yards from my girlfriend. But he now helps me on this Jurassic Park game so he's forgiven.
