  1. has everyone had wind of the changes on the board? Jensen stepped down as chair but still remain on the board. http://www.nust.org.uk/trust-board-reshuffle
  2. I never got to cut he cord as it was wrapped around his neck and they had to whip him to the side and unravel it then rub him vigourously to start him breathing. I actually didn't notice as it's so overwhelming. Wey, I thought it was anyway. He was fine straight away like. You'll never kna love like it kida.
  3. I was there. It's surreal and you kinda forget the details. Maybe it's cos mine were in the middle of the night. It's amazing though. I did shed a tear I'll admit but I'm a soft shite when it comes to owt like that. I had a look down the tyne tunnell just beforehand but she wanted me to talk to her. I'd advise her not to do what the zimbabwean(sp) wife did on one born every minute and take her coat off.
  4. The point is abbreviations are for lazy cunts, and most people on here are lazy "imo". Look at your signature man haha. Mystic Keg :icon_lol I think people use them as it adds a bit more punch or twist of humour to a post. *Tumbleweed*
  5. Think we need to be realistic about Simpson. He's young, quite experienced already, had a great nurturing at Man Utd and I can't tell you many about I'd replace him with in this current side. It's similar to SWP potentially coming in. Who would he replace and who would drop out 'cos the way I see it I'd play Simpson, Coloccini, Taylor/Willo , Jose, Barton, Tiote, Nolan, Jonas, Ben Arfa and Carroll. It's a decent side that often gets overlooked in comparison to others who are feared for no apparant reason. It's not always greener on the other side and I'd only like to see one or two come in. They'll only sit on the bench I reckon with the money we'd have available so not be upto displacing the aforementioned.
  6. Who's Gord? FWIW, if he wants to chat transfer activity he can.
  7. Robert Snodgrass' tackle/interception when Arshavin was going to shoot there was fucking tremendous. Love owt like that.
  8. Who does the hiring and firing on here? I reckon in respect to ourselves and the longer standing members of the board he should be sent to coventry. Offers absolutely nowt to this board. Nowt.
  9. I've used android and iPhone and whilst I like the abilty to do what you want with an android I'd still go for an iPhone. The thing that gets me with iPhone is that everything must be endorsed by apple. (barring jailbreaks). If you buy a windows computer, you can download or do whatever you want on it but Apple seem to think even once you own this equipment they should regulate what it can be used for. This is what pisses me off about Apple. Steve Jobs off on the sick again I see. Long term again, still raking in a nice bonus though. Aye that's what winds me up too. I can't get owt on it without using iTunes, it won't play certain video file formats etc etc. I've ordered an ipod touch, so will see what I think of that and probably base my decision on iPhone vs Android on what I make of the Touch. Oh aye, I kna all about video file format not working. Only place I get 3g on mine at home is on top of the microwave. No good. The only thing wrong with android, is it's not an iphone.
  10. I could believe that the way he left here while the 'hardcore' hung around. It's a shame he though the grass was greener and I doubt he's on much more at veeela than he was picking up here. I saw something in him, bassong and enrique but we've definitly got the best of the 3 still here. Jose's the yardstick when it comes to a true professional. I'd honestly shack up with him if the offer was on the table.
  11. Beye was a class act I thought. Always an 8/9 out of 10 every week. I bet he regrets leaving if he's actually interested in playing and not just picking up his bit every week.
  12. Did a good job man-marking Totti when we played AS Roma away in the Uefa Cup just after Robson took over from Gullit. Not sure if that's the game you're thinking of. Shhhh. He came second behind Ibrahimovic in the most overrated player awards.
  13. Did you start supporting us as your namesake played here?
  14. Not really, nah. I always liked Hughesy but he was never a great defender. Versatile yes, but not great in any one position. The board of NUFC wouldn't dare spend £3m on an ex player nearing the end of his career. Not a chance. Decent shout, but not for me.
  15. Say I'm wrong if you like, but Bruce is forever bitter about his lack of an international career. That's what all this boils down to with him. ideas above his station in all honesty.
  16. If it's not open through the day there's a place called Smithys or Bistro Smith or something which I'm told is well known and canny n'aal.
  17. Cafe 21 at Pontelands alreet like. Cost about £30-£35 I reckon and they do decent bait. If aal else fails they've got a Greggs in the airport now so allow him to dine in style whilst washing doon his steak bake with some Fairtrade fresh orange. You'll seal the deal nee danger.
  18. Couldn't resist, I'll admit it. me too. I was off to the gym and needed motivation Cheeky fuckers that picture was BEFORE I'd put on weight! Are your arms heavily tattooed or is it just that picture? Nope. Having always being relatively thin, I always think ratios look a bit dodgy on thin people. Obviously they're a lot more common now than they were 20 years ago when I would have probably being at that age for getting something done. Also not very keen on neadles. As your reading through some old stuff, you might want to look for a thread called tatoo fail, I think, that was quite funny. What is that on your arms then? Is it a green jumper under your top? Aye the only option you'd have had back in the day was a dagger with a snake wrapped 'round on your forearm, eh. They're dead classy like.

  21. Did you see the one when he went camping out 'overnight' with some nutter and fucked off early doors 'nah mayte, nah av gotta faackin roll init, get moi agent on the blower'. He'll always be a legend to me though. Moff in Human traffic was amazing.
  22. When we were expecting ours I went out and bought all kinds of books on what to do etc etc. The thing is, like children, when we become a parent we learn all along the way. We make errors, we have sucesses, but ultimately our kids are a subject of what they've encountered within their first 7 years. The books educated me on certain things but actual had and has no bearing on how we raise them. You ever see a kid shit scared of spiders? That wasn't built into them from birth. That fear comes from a fear they've seen their parents have and has been ingrained into them.
  23. The Rising Sun, eh? You got a season ticket for the place? Not anymore, just signed up for weight watchers today :-( Good luck. People hammer weight watchers but I suppose it's an assistance and when you do want to 'cheat' you'll feel guilty about so have WW's to help. Some'll disagree, but you should still have a 'cheat' day every week n a half/ 2 weeks where you eat what you'd like. This'll prevent you chewin' doon on marathons or bountys in your pits of despair.(which will happen). Al the best with it. Agree ish with the cheat things. Normally when we get back from our weekly family pub night, a kebab was picked up on route. Now we just made home made kebabs with chicken so they are quite healthy, but still canny tasty. Problem is when you are on your arse all day like me, the diet has to be preety much stuck too. My mate who is a sparky can put loads of shit away but just burns it all off at work. The good thing with weight watchers is that the fact someone is going to weigh you once a week to see if you've been cheating, helps when considering temptations. You can also get to ww or slimming world for 24 weeks foc just by popping to your gp and getting a card from them. Saves about £100 plus. To be fair my metabolism will be a lot better than yours because I'm a lot younger and the older you are the more it slows down. However, I just can't get my head round people paying Weightwatchers or some other weight loss program to get them on track. Losing weight is as easy as putting it on by way of a tiny bit of intelligence. Exercise every day, don't eat more than 2,000 calories and you will lose weight without throwing money down the toilet. Going to the gym actually makes you happy as well and I bet membership is cheaper than there option, so IF YOU ARE suffering from depression it releases endorphins in to your brain which make you feel happier. I will never understand people giving weightwatchers money. The thing about the gym as well, if I burn 800 calories in the gym it means if I want to have fat bastard food, or go out and get pissed I don't put any weight on, as long as I'm regular. Very Good. Kicking mid 30's though so you are getting to that age where all these curries will start to mount up. Your also single as well which gives you a lot of freedom for extra activities such as five a side and the gym. The bottom line is a healthy diet and its pretty much that simple. Weight watchers is like the diet equivalent of patches for packing in the fags. The weekly weigh gives you that bit of extra motivation to stick to a healthier diet. (I would also refer you to the bit of my post explaining weight watchers being free for the first 24 weeks). You should give it a go. You might even find it a good place to make new friends and chat up women It's all starting to make sense now why you gan?
  24. No idea. Tom thinks its funny to fanny about with the names. I think its three. The one he blocked when you got relegated. The one he blocked when I came on here to give condolences when SBR passed And this one. Which one did you disgrace yourself on changing Wiki entries? That was you wasn't it?
