  1. :-) £1540 spent on 2 tickets. One for geordieboy80 and one for Paul Wyn.
  2. It is only the internet but the subject matter is the nearest thing to my heart, give or take a the wife and bairns. You must admit you take the backpath on everything and see everything through rose tinted glasses. Or, so you portray. You may not mean it to wind people up, I believe you do though. I'll never alter my view that Ashley and Llambias are two of the vilest cunts ever to play a part in my life and I'll hate them, unconditionally until the sweet release of death. Not many on here would agree with this, but any success we have seen last season or will see this, has the gloss taken off it by the distain I hold towards them. Not massively, but a touch. The negative impact they've had on soo many people in our area is disgusting. We're Newcastle United, a Family club, who should be connected to the people of Newcastle. Lot's now feel disconnected. Like me. Maybe that lets you see how your backing of him can wind me up. Just sometimes think about the lies which have been proven these characters have told and understand why many wouldn't trust them to wash their windows.
  3. Because they might have missed it three posts back. An interesting one this. My last season ticket for the family section (well documented on here btw) was paid for in cash £700 and being a man in his 40's I have passed the point where I collect season tickets , programmes etc. The ticket before that was 2004 ish for me and the missus in Bar 1892. My only option here would be to head for the loft and look for Bank statements as that one was paid by a barclays connect debit card and Im sure would be on an old statement. Of course I would have to blank out lots of details and photocopy it etc etc.... Thing is it just seems a tad childish for a 45 year old to go to such lengths to prove something to some internet warrior And you would only question its authenticity bla bla bla..... All a bit sad really. Fair enough. I tell you what, will you have a pint with me in sleepers next tuesday? I'm off graft all week so I'll come down south and we can have a proper crack on. Nee aggro. Just to know what you're actually like. No thanks, Sleepers is for mixing with family and I think its pretty clear we are not each others cup of tea. Wey, I didn't think it was for mixing with friends. Obviously
  4. I'd categorise myself like this: Geordie, English, British, European, Western, Homosapian. English first and foremost.

  6. Look at Chez. He's gone against the majority on here, though his basis is on facts and an actual understanding of the game. I know nothing of the day to day ongoings inside the club, never been a major interest for me, Chez obviously knows more. Look at CT. He's gone against the majority on here, though his basis is on idiocy and lack of understanding of the game. He knows nothing of the day to day ongoings inside the club, never been a major interest to him, until the mid-life crisis. CT knas nowt about nowt. Anyway, my offer's been laid down to CT. Hope he can prove me wrong.
  7. Just so everyone sees this and knows, I've laid down the gauntlet to Busta Bloodvessel here. I'll repeat incase he's missed it; 'Prove you've ever had a season ticket at SJP and I'll remove myself from tt for good' Easy win for you, eh? Or you could just reply with a daft smiley and prove once again, you're full of shit. Bellmet!
  8. Fucking hell. Not only have we got Team Nastys first team out today, we're even giving some of the reserves a run out. Its past 4 as well so expect the youth development nasties along shortly. Just picking out a tiny bit of a post and ignoring the main point is another classic tactic of yours which no one sees through btw. Arrrgh, are 'the big boys' picking on you? Go and tell your mammy, Andrew. If yee can prove to me you've ever had a season ticket I promise never to post on here EVER again. There you go, now's your chance to get rid of me.
  9. This from Deano on page 1. This should be the final nail in the coffin of this kid's credibility on this board. Utterly fucking idiotic particularly having listened to the interview. Its an internet forum and last I heard football was all about opinions. Picking on Kids credibility ffs Ok then, I think we'll sign Cristiano Ronaldo. That's an opinion, but it's as ridiculous as your choice in hats, and it has no place on a Newcastle United forum. Much like you. God it must have been dull back in the day when the clique just agreed with each other all day long. No wonder so many of you are big into cooking instead. Hardly any cliques on here. I always assumed Alex, Peter, Stevie, Chez, Manc-Mag, HF, Fish etc agreed with eachother but that's clearly bollocks when you look at any given thread. I think the problem you come up against is just that nobody ever agrees with you, as you're a cock 99.9% of the time. No offence, you just are. I doubt you'd be half as vocal face to face with anybody but have built yourself up an internet persona which is spiralling out of control. Oh dear, Im exactly the same in person because unlike you, I can manage to chat on without calling people cocks. But you enjoy your internet warrior role. I love the fact people chuck Stevie in as if to make something acceptable. Stevie used to be one of the most argumentative on here until he was "got at". As has been evident in other threads recently, there are plenty who agree with me and in particular agree that this place is on the skids because of "cocks" who prefer to snipe at peoples opinions rather than have a discussion. The sooner those types clear off and stick to their love-ins on twitter, the better imo. Exactly the same person, ahhhhh that explains why you're a taxi driver with nee pals. That much is evident. I'm not an internet warrior, I've met people from here and I'm exactly like this in person. You'd gan white trying to hold a converstaion down in person with me, flower. I know of nobody who agrees with you on here, you're just out on a 'quim' trying to build a life for yourself through football, which has obviously never been a part of your life. You can tell a lot about a man by how he looks. Your photo spoke volumes.

I know, dear me. What gives anyone the idea we'll spend this type of money? We havn't spent over 4.5m on a player in Ashleys regime. That won't change now. If we can bring a few more in of the quality of B'Arfa, Tiote etc then if they're cheap then even better. £23m
  12. All I was saying is we generate as much if not more than the majority in the premier league. I wont even pretend I know the goings-on inside a football club. I don't begrudge us being careful with the cash we have and most certainly don't want us to be spending £20m on one player but I'd like to see more money being spent on bolstering our wafer thin squad. The biggest gripe for most NUFC fans is on the surface, we see massive gains through player sales and tiny amounts of money being spent on new recruits. You can't believe tiling the bathrooms at Benton training ground and general player wages is an acceptable way to spend Carrolls fee. It's his club, he runs it how he wants but the excuses and lies are a joke. Pardew said 'Look, If Andy is going, this money has to be reinvested in the team, all of it, and he has assured me of that'. They make it up as we trundle along.
  13. Paddocklad is suggesting that Carr is acting as a sort of DoF, see above. I don't disagree with your analysis of Llambias, although I bet he enjoys calling the shots. The question is whether Pardew has much involvement in transfers in and out; as time wears on I've become more convinced he doesn't play any significant part in either, although I expect his opinion would be canvassed at some point especially regarding incomings and squad needs. It's inconceivable that he'd be totally in the dark but the Carroll episode suggests he knew fuck all about his transfer out, similarly he said consistently he'd like to keep Nolan, only to see him sold. He seems to be up to speed with Enrique and Barton's situtationa but that's possibly because nothing has happened yet. I suspect he's loosely kept in the loop from time to time but has no say in outgoings and probably very little on incomings. That's what the current situation suggests to me anyway based on his public comments vs what actually happens. Regarding his stubborness, it depends on whether you think he signed up to this way of doing things when he took on the job. If he did, he's got nothing to be stubborn about, imo. He'll be presented with the final squad on 31 Aug and he'll get on with his job in the meantime. Interesting concept, that the head scout reports to Llambias. Can't see it myself, but I can buy into Llambias getting a run down on what scope there is for development (increasing resale value). I totally buy into Pardew having little say on out goings - Saylor being the obvious exception. Carr was recruited and is employed by lambchop and may also be shown the door by him if things dont go well next season, as the chief scouts of West Ham and Birmingham found out to their costs. Fergie was appointed in a different era, and basically in a different universe football wise so CT and anyone else using him for comparison on this issue is basically using the wrong man. He appoints all his own scouts and they report to him. He also has final say on who comer and goes, even at academy level. All that is in his autobiography. The better comparison is with Pardews playing peers, those of a similar age....I think if someone was brought in over Steve Bruce's head and started telling him which players he could and couldnt have hed tell Niall Quinn to shove it up his arse. Which is basically what KK told lambchop and Wise two or three years back. Some managers want to live or die by their own decisions, others are willing to let their employment be affected in a huge way by the judgement of others. Football is changing in that regard, but not for the better if you ask me. I think you are over simplifying the argument. First of all, there is no evidence of Pardew getting players he doesnt want. Secondly, I think its fair that Pardew probably was left in no doubt about the set up when he joined which is totally different to an established boss like Bruce suddenly having those changes made. Thirdly, as we and sunderland and many other clubs know, simply letting a manager get on and do whatever he wants with no regard for how those financial decisions effect the club, does not usually have a happing ending. Bruce has squandered millions of late on shit. Bruce is having to sell to re-build just as Harry is having to do at Spurs. Its ALL about living within your means these days apart from a select few. Just be thankful we are not Everton. Third highest gate receipts in English football, GLobal fanbase accounting for lots of merchandise and a vast net profit through the sales of players lead me into think we're living to far within our means nowadays. Speculate to accumulate in this game. There's being careful with money and then there's taking the piss. Ashleys regime has done the latter. Honestly CT he could call your wife a cunt and abuse your taxi driving skills and you'd still blame mitigating circumstances etc.
  14. I'm freeee to be whatever I ....
  15. As my dad would say 'Many happy retorns, aal the besss'. Have a good'un.
  16. Those blue Y3's are smart. Where you getting these from? I'm not a fan of the red ones, couldn't wear them on matchday. Too unlucky if I wear red. We never win if I've got red on anywhere .... Or perhaps that's because we're shite.

  18. now that's a trainer. Absolute dreamboats. Nicest sneaks ever. They're the yardstick, man. I pined for some Reebok Pumps with the basketball tongue then Nike Air Jordans. When Air Max hit the market early 90s I was getting a new pair every few weeks. Wouldn't wear nowt like that now. Just a plim type of guy. Tend to wear a suit everyday so it's Winkle-Pickers 'til I die.

  20. Puma are the paupers Mizuno. I remember my first pair of footy boots were Mitre. Think I got a free ball with them worth twice as much. Was only 6 or something. Puma King boots were top draw, fit like a glove, or a boot ...
