Quite enjoyed it. But then I've only seen Alien etc once or twice each ages ago, and I'm not a particular Ridley Scott fanboy or whatever, so didn't have any particular expectations. Couple of questions though: .... Or I would if I could find the bloody spoiler tags.

Cheers Ant. I now understand. Definitely not for me, could not hack that level of organisation required. Far too haphazard a player.

Righto. I guess my remaining question is when you are doing things like that uldaur raid you mention, and it takes ages over x days, do you have to be doing that with the people you started it with or what? I mean, if you get so far but have to go out/sleep/whatever, can you just save where you are, fuck off and come back in a couple of days? Can't imagine those 19 others are gonna wait around for you, and if you don't have 19 others at that same point when you want to start it up, how do you continue? I guess that's what I can't get my head around. But then I like my rpgs nice and simple, like NWN.

Do they not just play the hits and stuff when they tour nowadays? I've had this in my head all day!

Are the dungeons/raids sorta separate to the story/side quests that you'd get in the likes of Neverwinter Nights then?

New trailer: Also new gameplay video: Combat looks pretty cool, just hope you don't have a skinning cut scene each and every time like with Red Dead if you got the position of your horse wrong.

Never really got MMOs, tbh. Do you have to play with others? Like, can you play it solo but you just have to do it online? Cos whenever I've played RPGs in the past (non online) I properly explore everywhere, loot everything and basically end up as the richest person in history, but I take my time with it and so I can't see how that works with playing online with a bunch of randoms. Edit: That does look lush though.

This just came on the radio. Great song.

Link, anyone? I have no idea who is meant to be on it, so no idea if anyone I would like to see.

I had a great jubilee Sunday. 4 of us from uni all have birthdays in May, so a bunch of us went go karting, which was ridiculously good fun, and then got some food. The place we were in had about 2 people other than the 10 of us, and the waiting staff weren't exactly massively experienced. I ordered the sirloin, no one else ordered steak, so when a steak was plonked down in front of me I didn't think much of it, apart from when I cut into it, it wasn't medium rare at all, but at this point I was too hungry to care so ate it. Get the bill, and they've charged me for the fillet. Tell the waitress what's happened, manager comes over and has a go at me for eating the fillet, and how could I not have noticed the difference because it came with brandy butter! Little argument later, and they take the difference off the bill. Cheeky bitch. Otherwise, fantastic day.

Speaking of Clapton, this is one of my absolute favourites:

Will probably get around to Prometheus, but not that bothered by it. Batman all the way.

Drivers who drive at 35-40 when you are now in a fucking 50.

What do you actually have to do?

Bit, er, sort of brutal. If it wasn't for the fact its fucking clay.

Awesome, best of luck to them!

Yes, but that's probably one of his weakest books. The rest of the Mickey Haller ones are much better. Bosch trumps all though. Earlier ones are pretty good.

I think we were the first year at our school to have this. Luckily missed it by being on holiday in Florida at the time. Sounded really, really shit though.

Shit My Dad Says by Justin Halpern is good for short, sharp doses of humour.

Apparently its fine, cos there are nazi symbols all over England!: "Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Voloshyn said fans had nothing to fear. "Nazi symbols can be seen at ... any match in England, but does it mean that fans should not come to London for the Olympics?," he said." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18253420

Is the second one any good? I read Shadow Of The Wind a few years back and thought it was fantastic (although now can't remember much about it at all!).

I'm pretty sure the article I read about him being Reacher referenced him as Lestat as being "odd casting that worked". I've no idea, never read the book or seen the film.

Reminds me of being at college, they were massive back then.
