On the second fucking level!?
-
What do you guys reckon about this then? Got round to the second mission yesterday. Liked the stuff outside and sniping in time to the tannoy announcements etc, but then going inside the base and creeping around with a pathetic silenced pistol and a seemingly limitless number of guards just seemed a strange change to the sniping. And then bedlam at the end of the level. What are you guys who have got further thinking about it?

What did Cahill do at the end? Went to see what was happening in the City game and come back to see on the BBC he got sent off. -
That is remarkable. Never really had much opinion on City either way, but you have to hand it to them, that is an incredible end to the season for them.

Bolton still need to win don't they?

What happened? Stream jumped again. -
Ah right, only thing I saw on Spotify under their name. Sounds a bit Offspringy. Will try searching for those ones elsewhere. Cheers.

Back In The Day for Brat Pack?

If Pards has anything to do with it he will. Massively loves him.

No way! Never seen it live. Saw him after John Henry came out, but it was at Guilfest and he hardly had time to stop (even more so than normal) and was running on a minimal rig, so must have cut it To be honest, that first half or so of Sloe Gin (as an album) has to be right up there with my all time favourite, well, anything. Just awesome. Completely forgot about that podcast, meant to download it, so thanks for reminding me as well!

Also, cos its a cracking song (one of my favourites): PS - Ant, what's with the spell check being an american dictionary?!

Kevin Shirley feels that Joe needs stretching and taking out of his comfort zone to challenge him and to come up with fresh awesomeness (which is fair enough, he tours so much with the same guys and a new album comes out pretty much each year, must be tricky to keep refreshed otherwise). So, he puts the touring band on the bench for a bit and gets in session boys like Anton Fig and calls in a few mates such as Brad Whitford (for this one) and I think the young lad on the LP is possibly Joe Perry's lad (might be completely wrong, just read it on one of the youtube vids comments bit). Anyway, I think Driving Towards The Daylight is fantastic. Hopefully the rest of the album will be as good. Also, that whole lotta helter skelter actually sounded quite good. Normally those sort of things are abysmal, but that wasn't too bad. I despair of what has become of The Offspring. One of the first bands I ever got into, loved Ixnay. Dexter has departed planet earth. That's the first time I've heard that song, I actually started laughing when the bird starts going on about bass bumping in her trunk. Just awful. So, to counteract that awfulness: (and going to try out this new tagging, so... Edit, ah feck, I can never remember the bloody posting of youtube. Second time's a charm. Stand corrected, its not Perry's lad, its Whitford's.

I may have done that as well. But more when on a treadmill for some reason. No idea why. If you think that's weird, read Jon Richardson's book "It's not me, it's you". Proper loon for stuff like this.

What is so good about VLC? I've always used MPC, seems to do the trick. But aye, sopcast otherwise.

New trainees at work. Fucking hell. Don't even know who Bananaman is.

Shit. All bunged up and ill. Bleurgh. Just in time for big weekend of birthdays and last game of the season. Wonderful.

Missed that, what did Benny do?

Really liked Avengers. First time I can remember Hulk has ever been entertaining. Plus they didn't have too much of Thor being a boring bastard. Two stand out moments with Hulk made the (full) cinema burst into laughter for quite a while. If you've seen it you probably know which ones. American Pie, well, echo what's been said really. S'alright. -
I guess I just don't play stuff like Fifa. Much more into the "run, jump, stab in the face" type of game. As is probably obvious from the vast list of those type of games in the what are you playing thread.

Also forgot about Assassins' Creed Revelations, got that to finish as well. I think I still have a save game for Fm 2008 as well, ended up managing to get Aguero and Gyan up front, romped the league and champions league for a few seasons with them.

Maybe should have checked in here before I went and started topics...

Completely forgot about Diablo 3. D2 was the first RPG I ever played. Think I will have to add that to the list of games I will not get until I've gotten rid of the other time sinks on my list, along with Skyrim, Dishonored and ME3.

I don't seem to be able to edit that for some reason, but thought of something else! Guitar Hero Metallica, never got round to unlocking all of the songs. This is what happens when you have a job and have to do a shit load of exams as well. On the plus side I finally managed to complete Bayonetta a month or two ago (would have been earlier but ended up going for platinum cos I am a sucker for punishment).
