Played poker last night with a few friends. Lost the first game, won the second, we ended up finishing with a four way tie for the pot, so we go to a high card draw. And I get a 2! A bastard 2! It was only £10 each but still, a 2! Wasn't impressed.

As we are doing injury tales, a mate of mine back at 6th form slipped, leg went from underneath him and his knee cap ended up on the side of his leg. I was screaming at him to cross the ball, he was just screaming.

Is shola injured now as well? Do we have any strikers left? Good win, and above the scousers!

I hate agreeing with Wilkins (only on that bit, everything else is bollocks)

Been impressed with how Guthrie has grown into this game, but slightly concerned over his fitness, doesn't look like he can really last the 90. And as much as Wilkins has been an utter thundercunt (love that expression), he had a point with hba, he seems to skin a man and then wants to go on and score a wonder goal when its not on and loses it. I don't mean it to be a reason not to start him and he had made our play a lot smoother, but sometimes he just needs to pass it a bit more and keep the ball. Still love to watch him on the ball mind.

Does anyone know what happens if you buy/download a game from the PS3 network (or dlc like undead redemption) but then delete it? I mean in terms of getting it back again? Does the network remember that you have bought it and so can download again for free? Also relevant for the free games Sony were handing out for losing people's details? My ps3 is massively full (only got a 40gb one), and the main things taking up space are the two free downloaded games and dlc. Wondering if I remove one or other of them, will I lose them forever?

Had them a couple of times. First time, I got Watchtower thrust in my face and had no idea what it was. Said no thanks, merry christmas and shut the door. Was enlightened later that Watchtower is their mag, so next time had one knock on the door, I told them that I'd had life saving blood transfusions and asked whether that meant I wasn't allowed to know the truth? She didn't really take to that.

Looks like we need to start a "Dr Gloom's guide to not being a fat bastard" thread.

Ah what a film! "No, Mother, I have not been drinking. No. No. These two men, they poured a whole bottle of bourbon into me. No, they didn't give me a chaser". Superb. -
Haven't read any of this thread, been watching it else where, but absolutely delighted. Deserved victory, wonderful goals, the third couldn't have happened against a nicer team. Can't remember enjoying a game as much for a while, absolutely superb.

Like it so far, good fun. Although I seem to have become absolutely shit at losing the cops. Took up a fair bit of my time yesterday, but been on Batman and Borderlands (finally got that as well at Christmas) mostly today. Liking all of them so far.

Looking forward to that. One of my absolute favourite books as a kid.

Bit late (barely ever look at sticky posts tbh), but done. Hopefully nearly there!

Awesome. This is the same Remi who does the Mario Kart bit?

Just watched the new Sherlock Holmes. Its alright. Pretty similar formula to the first really (as to be expected). Some enjoyable set pieces, but prob enjoyed the first one more. -
Yeah, resit in July. Missed it by 4 bastard marks. Now I've got to go face my entire office at the Christmas party. This is going to be fun...

2 out of 3. Balls.

Cheers. Yeah, they text at 5, but normally takes 10-15mins to come through. They have a website as well with everyone on it, but as you can guess it can't really cope with the traffic when 5pm hits. Its an agonising wait from 5 till you either get on the site or get the text. The Times bit sounds brutal. Bet the temptation to fuck with people got the better of them a fair bit!
