He also had Karl Ness playing for him at one time ! You did well not to go on to a life in Sunderland or as an assistant to murder then .

We have a good record at home to Arsenal though. I'm assuming they're Boro fans trying to kill their own players? You see he jumps the barrier right next to one of the stewards? Wtf was the steward doing? Whether it was a Boro or Mackem fan, I hope he gets banned from football for life the helmet. There was another gonk that came running on and was finger-waving remonstrating with players, I was making a brew at the time so missed bit of it. From whence did he hail ?

How shit was the Dutch kid Boro brought on btw? Me mate sent me text saying how his dad had Colback playing for him at Wideopen Juniors back when . I send back some trite 'that'll be why he's shit then, poor kid born radiant ginger then hid life took a further horrific downturn as he found himself workin in Sunln' . . I'd literally just pressed send - TONK ! Was obviously hoping Main would come up with the goods after his pre-match stuff - he was at Sunlin before Darlo - interesting that he seems another ex-player that's non too fond of the place ?

4) Slippier than a tiger on vaseline . Directly responsible for poor diction amongst future generations . It's "three" not "free" , "threat" not "fret", "we were" not "we was" Also needs to wind his wobbly neck in from time to time .

Isn't the Co-Op as an organisation that from inception, based on some sort of religious/ethical footing ? Read an article while ago about how they're a rather insular company and how their shops suffer as a result as they always recruit from within and therefore rarely exposed to new ideas. I know folk who bank with them and only have good things to say. Whether the tillers in their banks wait for an agitated queue to form before getting on the tannoy to request another member of staff comes from out the back, I'm not sure .

Fish in a pickle there

Thanks Phil - sounds pretty good and while I quite like a challenge I also hate the frustration computers can offer up (and just on Vista not Win7) so as long as I get hold of one with Nitro and BMX on it I should be sorted .

haha - Mam's are great . Mine's only just got to grips with making calls on a mobile . She bought a dvd player with a new flatscreen tv a few years ago . Never used it once . Never eaten curry either .

Aye G i'll probs go down the wired route actually as I currently dwell in an older house and the thick walls weaken the signal . Wireless also gives you cancers n shit .

Far from expert and like I say some of the techspeak Ive encountered twists the melons. Hacked allows you to put "apps" (cant recall what refered to) on like Icefilms which when previously in cahoots with Megaupload - could stream uploaded movies/tv directly i.e. saves the whole torrent/dload carry on. I know there's loads of these hosting providers and now Rapidshare content now replacing the removed Megaupload stuff on Icefilms but is now very limited content. Regarding wireless setup, yeah looking to stream from nas/router to inherently wifi enabled little AppleTv box. The format thing can kinda be overvome (i believe) by the XBMC interface as Phil referred to (i think its XBMC anyway - if not there's an alternate "app" to play more formats I'm sure) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjHE65r2D1I Phil - a few q's if you'd be so kind . How easy is it to self-hack these ? Can be bought for £85 'clean' and c.£100-£130 pre-hacked (loads tutorials on youtube and loads of versions of these hacks and potentially a frustrating process ?) The ready-hacked ones I've seen available vary in what's installed - and prices reflects this - how easy is it to add "apps" (using pc not Mac-dont know if this comes into it as I THINK they're downloaded direct from the Wiki list)? Picture quality - how is it generally, HD content-wise ? Reading of folk having streaming issues but not sure if down to internet connection speeds ?

Been reading up on the uses and wherewithall of a hacked Apple TV box . The process can get involved and all the forums on the topic tend to use hardcore nerd speak which gets a bit heaby but a 'readymade' can be had off ebay for c.100. Anyway - anyone using one ? Thinking of using it as opposrd to firing up computer for streams (as can watch LiveOnlineFooty subs on it) , and also the Catchup stuff and maybe to set some kind of wireless caper up if I can be atsed to get thst far. Also with Megaupload going west the film side of these Apple Tv's has taken a knock I believe . So are they any good or what ?

Does anyone know of a 'no win, no fee' solicitors
LoveTheBobby replied to Lazarus's topic in General Chat
Just be very wary is all I can say . I got reamed-out to the tune of £600 for the privelidge of a couple of bog standard-letters and a cup of tea and 2 Nice biscuits (as part of initial meeting charm offensive) courtesy of Sintons . Case was dealt wuth by a junior under the eye of a partner (wow he proof read a flaming letter) that came out of a minimal redundancy settlement that my employer had forced to basically negate my future rights vis-a-vis doing them for unfair dismissal . Shark-eyed unscrupulous cunts mostly so get quotes before you sign up to any of them. Those flash offices/cars in carpark don't pay for themselves . -
How worried are you by the eurozone sovereign debt crisis?
LoveTheBobby replied to Dr Gloom's topic in General Chat
Europe [and the UK] was far better off before we imported all these assorted spongers from all over the world and had a lower population. Sweet David FYP. Anyway, lets see if we can nail this down. In terms of this elastic band here, how tight are things likely to get? About as tight as an average Post Office band extended over about eight inches. See these are the kind of analogies that the non-square heeds like me can get to grips with . It's the way Jonny Ball would've done it and it should be encouraged . -
Blatter: Racism should be sorted out with a handshake
LoveTheBobby replied to Gemmill's topic in Newcastle Forum
Blatter getting Tokyo Joe to switch it all back onto FIFA's favourites - England there . canny . . "The statement said: "I am sorry and I regret that my statements earlier this week have resulted in an unfortunate situation. "I am committed to the fight against racism ... I will not stop until we have stamped racism out of football." Mr Blatter also rejected calls for him to resign. Mr Sexwale, who had featured in a photo issued by Mr Blatter in the wake of the allegations against him, followed up his defence of the Fifa boss by turning his focus on the English FA. He first called for "action" in the case of Liverpool FC striker Luis Suarez, who has been charged with making racist comments towards Manchester United defender Patrice Evra. He then said: "The most worrisome of the cases is that which involved Chelsea captain John Terry, where he is being investigated for racial remarks he (allegedly) made against (Anton) Ferdinand. "John Terry is also the captain of the English national team. It is therefore not helpful for any side to have honoured him with the captain's armband whilst the (alleged) indiscretion against another player of another race is still so fresh in mind." http://news.sky.com/home/world-news/article/16112800
