Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
jonasjuice replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
We were spoilt having Given-Young Harper for so long, Elliot isn't really that terrible for a 2nd choice, certainly wouldn't be a position I'd be desperate to improve if/when I'm in charge.- 10610 replies

Great game, many of their fans are pricks but I've really enjoyed watching this team and out of the 3 would be prefer them win it.

Stoke vs Newcastle 12/04/14

Can't recall exactly when but I think I remember him saying a couple of times that he'd made mistakes/he'd got it wrong, which in fairness is about par because all managers, even those that are on disastrous relegation bringing runs, always find something to shift blame onto. It's just part of the job. Blaming the press isn't though and is just a bit daft. -
Now that's what I call Music --- on a drunken night.

For the first song, while I'm getting ready and making myself look beautiful, it simply has to be this. -
Need a minimum of 7 points from 6 games, and that's if Norwich and Fulham fail to scrape a couple of extra points together. I'm no big city statistician, but I reckon they're in a bit of bother now.

Going to the US for 5 days in about a month or so, couple of people I've asked have said I'll need one but I've been looking on line for more information (which has proved confusing) and there seems to be a VISA waiver thing for less than 90 day stays for people from the UK, anyone have any experience with this kind of thing?

Oh great so she's still alive at that point in the books jees thanks for taking all tension from her scenes for the next 3-4 seasons and spoiling everything David Kelly gaaaaaawd, Anyway the line about people that name their swords was great, good start to the season.

Pfff stats are like hats.

Urgh, please can we have a blanket ban on mentioning that? Simply too depressing to be reminded of.

It's all very well looking at some of the fixtures they've got left as winnable which they appear to be, but the confidence and morale drain of just being at the bottom and the big points gap to 17th regardless of the games in hand will surely do them now if they weren't done before. Can't see them getting to 34 points.

Actually just reminded me that I own Diablo 3, never played the originals/Baldurs Gate games so maybe point and click just isn't my genre, but as much as I quite enjoyed all the flashy attacks and some of the bosses, and it's quite a chilled/therapeutic thing to play after a long day, I took a break after the boss of the act in the city, got a couple of other games and just never felt even the slightest craving to go back to it. It's not as instantly fun as say an fps, not as in depth story wise as a proper rpg, not as in depth strategy/thought wise and a rts - not quite sure what the specific appeal is.

Just noticed Desmond's been culled what was the final straw post? Or was it just a gradual culmination of Desmond being Desmond?

More so in Cabaye's case, but it depends whether you think it's better to be a handsomely paid squad (yet still used) player for a trophy winning team or a less well paid big player for a (brutally honest) well-supported nothing team. Do you think John O'shea and Wes brown are kicking themselves that they wasted all that time collecting medals and being backups at Manchester United when they could have been getting regular football as the main men at a Sunderland/Wigan/whoever all along?

Re Pitt and Leo, If you'd told me at the back end of the 90s that of that group of 90s heart throbs, by 2014 Leo, Pitt and Clooney are all doing far more respected performances in far better movies than Depp I'd have laughed in your face. Laughed! -
Fargo on Netlfix is an enjoyable way to spend an hour and a half, good story and performances in a nice lean timeframe with no filler.

Aye if you offered them a replica of this season every year for the next 10 years they'd absolutely snap your hand off.
