Find it distressing there seems to be a not insignificant amount of people who seem to be basing their vote on who they hate more out of Salmond and Cameron, or whether they feel one campaign is being patronising or threatening or whatever. Just vote for what you honestly think is best for the long term success of your country, try to take these short term things like Darling's eyebrows and Salmond's face out of the equation.

Would tickle me slightly if we go on a 5 game winning streak now

Surprised he hasn't made one for subtle reminders that he's now got a real life girlfriend with a vagina and hair and everything

Yeah he was alright, nothing special and I'd rather we didn't take someone I'd instantly dislike as a person.

That's it really, I'm very pessimistic about the next appointment but at least it'll make things a bit more interesting for a while.- 10610 replies

Don't think Fergie Vuckic or Campbell will ever be Prem class so whatver really, like Sammy enough as a person that I'd like for him to have another season here with the first team, think he'll get enough games as he's looked alright sometimes, Bigi needs game time elsewhere asap and I have absolutely no idea about Streete.

When Pardew goes end of October, who do you want as..........
jonasjuice replied to accadacca's topic in Newcastle Forum
Think Moyes will go abroad next, try to win some trophies somewhere outside of the top leagues like McClaren did. Think he's too ambitious a guy who's already done the whole long term shoestring thing about as well as anyone could to come here and deal with our arseholes, think he'll probably want something different from his next job. Wouldn't be happy to accept low ambitions imo. Plus, his salary is just not going to be met by us. Checklist for our next manager is probably: -Cheap -Good at getting results on a low budget -Not going to rock the boat, happy to say the same shit Pardew does Don't think the attractiveness of the football is going to come into it sadly. Hopefully get someone decent and likeable from the French or Dutch leagues, would make sense given our player recruitment policy. -

Too soon.

Genuinely one of my favourite songs of all time RIP 'guy from that band that did Eye of the Tiger and that', great voice an some truly great power cheese.

How grim? Bottom 5 grim?
-
Well, I look forward to you praising Pardew if he manages to drag our awful squad to mid-table comfort then.
-
Nah it's alright.

Deadline day doesn't really change much in the short term, doubt HBA and to a lesser extent MYM were likely to see much game time under Pardew so our first team is virtually unaffected, with the obvious exception of injuries to CB's. Just a bit disappointing they won't be available should we change manager.

Used to be a tubby North African bloke I played 5-a-side with, had Tubzhinio on the back of his shirt and was skillful as owt, shuffled past people for fun. Used to just be dribble-wheeze, dribble-wheeze. Great days.

Striker might not be their weakest position but depending on the loan fee it's a great signing imo. Rooney VP and Falcao pretty much guarantees that whatever rotation/injuries they have this year they'll have at least one top class striker available and Falcao's an animal. Would have scored more than 2 goals in 4 games with him around, can see them really pushing on in a month or 2 when they get used to the new system, lots of goals in that team, just need to stay within a reasonable distance of the top 4 until then.

 Easily your best work on here

Don't really know you properly but good luck with everything Stevie, always came across as a good, genuine, witty lad from what I've read on here and I'm pleased to see it's gone well so far. Take this 6 months as a temporary serious health kick and line up something as a reward for when your done, a big drinking holiday away somewhere for next year or something. All the best.

Remy's definitely good enough to be a very good squad player for a title chasing team, as long as he keeps the right attitude when he's not playing the big games all that often. Think Costa will see enough injuries/rest to keep Remy happy anyway. He's got a great touch, finish, pace and can beat a man. Can't see how he could fail to get a decent haul with the players Chelsea have behind him. Will be seen as a bargain which their rivals were foolish to overlook in hindsight imo.

Every now and again there's a series of injuries which lead to an unexpected/unrated player getting called up. Doesn't mean they're being labelled as England's next big thing, but a rather large amount of idiots react as though it's going to be anything more than a rare (possibly only) call up in exceptional circumstances. Good luck to him, I hope that if he gets any meaningful minutes he does well and comes back with a confidence boost.
