If we were an ambitious club that would use the money to further push on, and we had won a trophy in say the last 5-10 years, then top 4 makes more sense. If we were say Liverpool I'd take the top 4. As it is, fa cup without a shadow of a doubt.

Thinking about it, when was the last time a launch had a properly top stellar game, that wasn't available elsewhere? Probably Halo back on the original Xbox? I'm a sucker for a bit of launch hype and might've been tempted by one of these but I'm very much a take my time playing 1 very well reviewed game until I finish it kind of guy, and there's nothing there that's particularly interesting enough for an upgrade yet when there's a lot of good titles still coming out current gen.

Not excusing their performances btw, but rather than 'He's spent £100m and performances have been poor', a less snappy but fairer summary would be 'Someone has chosen to sell £100m worth of talent from his squad and replace it with £100m worth of other talent, and he hasn't been able to get the players he's been given performing well'.

Made a net profit in the summer though, it was not a £90m net gain of talent, while the teams around them have added to their squads without losing too much.

I'd be annoyed with who chose the players, in this case Baldini. And I think some of the players brought in will turn out to be good signings, the point is I've heard quite often 'He's spent £100m and they haven't improved over last season', as though he's had an extra £100m worth of quality added to what he had last season, when that simply isn't the case.
