There's 35 years' worth of source material for them to dig into. So no, it's not. Not that the press would be any "nicer" to any other Labour leader, but still, they could consider one who doesn't essentially live in a Sideshow Bob field o' rakes.

Aye, Grange and Borrowdale as a whole are reliably lovely.

If you've got three nights then Ambleside is nice for a change of scene one night, plenty good eats there too.

Only place I've eaten in Keswick itself is the aforementioned tapas and craft beer haunt (Bar eS) which, while very decent, probably isn't the place for the occasion. There's plenty of nice-looking places in and around the market square but I haven't tried any to recommend.

The rest is just tag words, copyright info etc., but I love the caption, which basically says "Ewald Lienen (Bielefeld) receives treatment after a nasty foul by Norbert Siegmann (Bremen) slices open his thigh". Almost as brutally efficient as the tackle itself. -
