Theres no reason at all Cabella couldn't be a success here, assuming he is coached right and has the right attitude (and I've not heard a word spoken against that, unlike HBA, Cabaye or Thauvin) he's no smaller than a lot of other attacking mids knocking about in this league who have all adapted and star for their teams. The fact he barely played for us in his preferred role has to have been detrimental also

Mata, Januzaj and Depay behind Rooney becomes really narrow as Mata drifts inside and Depay cuts in on his right. Could be worth packing out the middle, use Taylor at right back (assuming hes fit) and play Tiote rather than Anita (assuming he is also fit) Mitro, Perez, Sissoko and Gini as the front 4 letting us clear our lines to Mitrovic or counter with pace if we get a break. Or the other, more likely, scenario...we get fucked.

A lot of these set pieces by palace look very familiar. Except the big lump at the back post appears to be able to win one or two of them

He was no where near his man for the second to close down the cross but for the first it was delivered by the right back. Haidara had gone infield with Tadic but Obertan who you would expect to track the fullback was miles infield with Colback and Anita not and wasn't really doing anything/marking anyone which gave Cedric loads of room.
