Carver and co. won't be getting paid that much and will almost certainly have max settlements in their contracts. Garde is a free agent so no compensation to his old club would be needed. He'd be able to communicate more easily with players we bring in since we're still mostly scouring France and will have insight into that market that our current staff don't (apart from Carr of course but he is 70 now and won't go on forever). Bringing Garde in could well be the first step towards how the club deals with life without our super scout.

Ive not pulled IFs but I've done well this year Hazard, Reus twice and Di Maria paid for the IFs I bought at their bottom price, Muller and Rodriguez for 200k, Kroos for 100k. Wait for them to be out of packs for a while and if they don't get another IF their price rockets. Rodriguez sold for 700k +, Muller for 600k+ and Kroos for 300k. None of the 3 are a miss for me, Rodriguez isn't quick enough as a winger on FUT, Mullers workrates pull him too far out of position and Kroos just never quite worked even though I loved him on the last Fifa.
