Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Andrew replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Dyche particularly getting a club the size of burnley automatic promotion. Monk has already been mentioned, doing great work with Swansea so far, if that list is "poor managers" I dread to think where Pardew comes. Redknapp isn't a better manager either imo.- 10610 replies

Playing one out and out striker is going to leave him isolated until He, De Jong and Cabella have had a bedding in period. I think the intention is for De Jong to be getting up alongside/beyond him like Nolan did with Carroll while Cabella provides the improvisation/flair.

Theres not that much in that regard to judge Charnley on is there? Hes not appointed a manager before, he seems to have little say in transfer targets other than handling negotiations- 10610 replies

I presume it will fall to Charnley with Ashley having the final yay/nay.- 10610 replies

True but he'd still be far preferable to Pardew who is thoroughly dis-likable, can't use creative players AND only does as he's told.- 10610 replies

Well said.

We're a bit like Man U, but we're either more or less ridiculous, I can't quite decide
-
Its like a lunatic screaming in your ear and saying that because you heard him what he had to say was worth listening to.
-
They've still got you
-
Blind apparently coming or in already. Milan have van ginkel now so speculation that de jong will be Man U bound. Hernandez has gone to Real Madrid.

It would seem a loan is agreed subject to medical.

Certainly not just a week before their big iphone reveal event.

Due to upgrade later this month so probably.

A new low for Pardews nonsense. Not so long ago also is actually 2 years, since then Cisse hasn't managed double figures in the league. Hes a spent force. Rhodes/Long etc we clearly wouldn't do but prices are inflating due to clubs having more money thanks to the TV deals, we haven't altered our spending pattern up in the slightest in line with that while others have, prices go up over time, our willingness to spend on an individual doesn't, a top striker is a 20 million pound player at least, we have that to spend, we won't spend it. More chances needed to score = better striker He didn't have 2 or 3 chances a game and fluff his lines, he had 2 or 3 chances a game and never looked like scoring, hes missed sitter after sitter over the last couple of years. Papiss Cisse is no longer a premier league striker worth playing if you need goals and he won't be unless there is a big coaching change that manages to drag some form back out of him which our current setup is not capable of providing

I'd like to see De Jong, Cabella, Ferreyra, Riviere and Perez all play (though not start for obvious reasons) it might be a little unbalanced but its a league one team, we shouldn't need a great deal of protection for the defence from midfield and its in attack where we've added a lot of players that need game time to get to know each other.

Facundo Ferreyra? The Argentinian?
