  1. Seeing t00nraider brought those repressed memories back to the surface. I'm sorry but Torquay is a pretty crap night out too.
  2. I have been out in Watford once and never will again. I have had better nights out in the chav infested central Southampton pubs than I did in Watford.
  3. The best cover ever, and it has been scientifically proven, is Easy by Faith No More.
  4. My mistake, replace 'the' with 'this'.
  5. You're lying. You have to be lying. PLEASE TELL ME YOU'RE A LYING SCUMBAG!
  6. Not to defend the bloke Skol because he sounds like a cock, but a house with a pool is considerably cheaper to buy in Oz than it is here. I'm talking a fraction of the cost. Where in Oz does he live?
  7. Might be time for skyplus/HD. Or just buy one of them freeview thingys. The only channel I watched when I had Sky was Sky Sports News, then went to Currys and paid £25 and I'm sorted. It's the only channel I ever watch as TV in the country is so awful.
  8. Rupert Murdoch was born in the city that all great men are born in. Melbourne. Mr Murdoch, I salute you. Despite your American citizenship. :salute:

    Farting

I live with a bowel condition. I just don't care anymore, if I need to fart I'm going to fart. Fuck this politeness issue, it's either gas pains or the sweet release.

The only way to improve this thread:
  11. ....not as if we didn't invent the game or anything.. But like with EVERY game you invented, you gave it to the rest of the world and then the rest of the world got better than you at it.
  12. At least they can say the word VITAMIN properly!

Yes, graphic novels and comic books do contain pictures as they are a visual medium. A movie is a visual medium also. So seeing as you are lumping both comics and graphic novels in together therefore movies and television go into that category too. You're the one telling us not to be so anal about genres and categories here. Why can movies, or books, be classifed as an artistic medium yet comic books and graphic novels are childish, throw away forms of entertainment?

I just think a guy posting on an internet message board going on about things being nerdy is hilarious. The moment you pressed 'add reply' the first time you were forever made a nerd. And it's something you have done over 4000 times. haha, nerd.

A graphic novel is different to a comic book. Seriously. I cannot wait to see this. I have been a fan of the GRAPHIC NOVEL for a long, long time and the trailers I've seen look incredible. Frank Miller hasn't had a great deal to do with the movie, acting more as a consultant than anything else. From the interviews I've read with the director he's said he's tried to make this as accurate as he can. And by accurate he means bloody as hell and incredibly violent because that's what the battles were. I want to see just how violent it is.
  16. So I wasn't busy? I asked her a simple question over the phone and it took her 20 minutes, and I had the timer on the phone going, to come back and respond. I'm sorry, that's just pitiful.
  17. Can this clipboard thingy guarantee to make the nurses at St Mary's less retarded? I spent 20 minutes waiting for a nurse to check on whether one of her patients was fit enough to travel to us in a wheelchair or did we have to organise a stretcher. 20 fucking minutes. I could've injected the patient and done the first half of her test in that time! Wastes of space they are on the wards around where I am.
  18. You know, if you eat healthy, drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol and take your vitamins ALL THE TIME you won't have to worry about man flu. The last time I had it would have to be four or five years ago. But I guess people don't want to hear that kind of thing huh?

GPs don't give a damn though, they become GPs because they want to do the lazy side of medicine. They sit on their arse, tell everyone there's nothing wrong with them, and if the patient comes back two weeks later in a worse state they refer them onto someone else because it's just too much hard work to pay any attention to them at all. Either that or they have a go at their patient because he has the audacity to speak ENGLISH in fucking ENGLAND and refuse to prescribe any medication that he might need regardless of how important it is requiring said patient to have to go through the bullshit NHS registration at a new clinic by seeing the nurse before a doc will even acknowledge he exists and.... :stevepassesout:

I'm very impressed with your biographer skills sir and I would like to hire you on a full-time basis. What do you say? You get to chronicle my life meaning you get complete access to everything that is Steve. If you don't want the job I'm sure Jonny will take it but I much prefer you. :swoon: But yeah, I quit the job at King's College cos it sucked and it was too far away and I took the job more central.

Which London hospitals are your lot doing up and I'll let you know if it's one of them! I'm living in Harrow and working in a central London hospital at the moment. At least for the next three or so weeks anyway cos I'm off to Australia in March for a month. After that I could be anywhere, maybe even Basingstoke...

I would rather work ten 18 hour shifts in a row, with each shift being either all paediatrics or all geriatrics (you can decide my fate there), than have to sit through the fucking Sound of Music. I understand you love your daughter but man, there are limits surely. Am I the only one that doesn't mind going to work or something? Granted it an all Aussie department and I'm grossly overpaid but still, it's not all bad surely.

    Member badges

I'm shit at this kind of thing and to be honest a little lazy as well, anyway, if someone wanted to make me a Melbourne Victory badge I'd hump them until they couldn't walk.
  24. Best: Raiders of the Lost Ark Worst: Even with it announced and nothing more, the Indiana Jones 4 movie if it ever is made. Who wants to see a 84 year old Indy fighting Nazis? Just give it a rest and stop making sequels for the sake of it.
  25. Oh god, I forgot about Jonny and his gay bingo. He hasn't done it for weeks now. In a sulk after nobody wanted to play. Jonny has permanently been burned into my brain for better or worse, as the guy that tried to grab my balls after feeling me up. I still don't know whether to take it as a compliment or not.
