  1. Fellaini is a quality player. He's a sly, dirty bastard, but he's quality.
  2. It's shocking how many "fans" like that there are in SJP.
  3. Pricks like that are worth having for moments like that
  4. There's no benefit to Beckham's pocket of donating to charity, regardless of any tax relief. The only one to benefit from tax relief is the charity itself. David Beckham is donating his salary to charity. That's all there is to it. There's no tax legislation that would make him better off by giving money away.
  5. That was a good assist, that one against Villa. Impressive stuff.
  6. Reminds me of when people start sentences with "I'm not a racist, but..."
  7. Donating his salary to charity shouldn't be knocked. It's a canny gesture.
  8. Corners in general are a poor source of assists for most teams. I'd honestly rather see us play it short.
  9. To be fair, we only scored one goal from a corner last season.
  10. Ashley wouldn't miss a chance to mess up a deal for Dave Whelan
  11. Anita really is a bonafide midget.
  12. You end up being over-run in midfield, meaning one of your centre backs ends up stepping out to support. In which case you might as well play a midfielder there and be done with it.
  13. It may well work, who knows? I've always found teams with a back five find it much harder to spring an offside trap, whereas with a back four it's easier to control.
  14. What "skills" are you looking for in said fullback?
  15. I'm not convinced Danny Simpson is still alive. I reckon he's gone down on Tulisa and she's accidentally coughed and swallowed him in one.
  16. I donated the other day, although I don't have a money bag under my name (not sure how that bit works to be honest).
  17. Santon isn't any more dependent on having support ahead than any other full back in the league. It's a standard requirement of a wide midfielder to support his fullback to prevent him from being outnumbered, just as much as going forward. No full back in the world could cope with being attacked by an opposition winger and overlapping fullback, all at once, without some help from team mates.
  18. Howay lads, surely we're above the "I know more about football than you" arguments. It's all irrelevant, as I know the most and my dad has a bigger cock.
  19. That's doubtful, in my eyes. Simpson is constantly caught way out of position, usually drifting in no mans land between full back and centre back. He's then too far away from the winger to cut out the cross and too close to the winger to clear the final ball. His lack of ability on the ball and nervousness going forward invites pressure on us. Santon at least can kick a football. He knows how to pass a ball and is infinitely more composed on the ball. Positioning can be coached to a player and I wouldn't expect Santon to have mastered positioning yet given his tender age. In Simpson's case though, if you haven't developed a first touch and composure on the ball by the time you're 26, you never will, which is why I think he's a lost cause. He's only played so many games because we failed to secure Debuchy in the summer.
