  1. He can't possibly think that's true... I think he's failing to consider that while they play good football, everyone associated with the club, including Rodgers, is an utter bell-end. Although it would be something special to see Man Utd lose today... There'd be hell on in the media.
  2. That Aeris thing is kinda harsh actually, but maybe I've missed whatever it is she does to wind everyone up.
  3. I dunno, I think he will spend. I actually think we legitimately tried to in January, else why would he have sacked Kinnear? I think there's an acceptance that money needs to be spent, and knowing Ashley, it's entirely possible that he'll being in 2-3 new players, we're all fairly happy about it, and we'll then spend the next 12 months waiting for him to pull the carpet out from under us.
  4. Ok so I feel pretty young now... 2002 for me. That said, on the comment about them formerly being harder - I can believe that. Saying that though, if they were based around 'remembering things' and regurgitating other people's theories, then they were still as useless in a practical sense for preparing anyone for the real world as they are now, I'd wager. Gove goes on about how far ahead of us educationally the Chinese are, without any consideration of the fact that out of a population of 1 billion people, they have almost no original ideas about anything.
  5. For what it's worth, I agree with you.
  6. It's extremely close at the bottom of the table - Not sure how Swansea ended up in there to be honest... Despite winning today, I think Fulham are gone. They've got too much to do. Probably Cardiff as well.
  7. I hope you're right, but their home games look pretty winnable to me. especially if they're still in with a chance of staying up with two games to go.
  8. Even so, I have this awful feeling that they're going to get away with it...
  9. Depressing game - also utterly awful game - but we need a two decent goalscorers in the summer. Remy could be one, not that he'd stay. De Jong can replace Shola in the ineffective holding the ball up role, and we can replace Cisse. We'll need to replace Colo, and we need to replace Cabaye. That's a fair size rebuilding job...
  10. Sunderland have two games in hand anyway, a point is probably ok for them sadly...
  11. That doesn't get way from the fact that we'd have scored at least once and probably twice if Remy was playing where Cisse or De Jong are. Had we replaced Cabaye, or kept him, I honestly think we'd probably have won 3 or 4-0.
  12. Well it's hard to argue they don't deserve that. I reckon our all round play has warranted a goal as well, we're just utterly impotent up front without Remy.
  13. Haha that's actually hilarious. Goaline tech saving us there.
  14. Isn't that what we've got Hawkeye for?
  15. ...this better not use up our luck for the rest of the season...
  16. Can De Jong actually shoot...?
  17. I was expecting that we'd not be seeing cross field passes that go straight out of play, miles away from other players. That's Fulham rather than us, but even so.
  18. This match is hilariously bad.
  19. De Jong passing it to their keeper...
  20. Dummett is not the answer for our set pieces, like.
  21. Needs a goal by us really. If Fulham score it'll be more of this, but if we do they'll have to go for it. Crap match though, so far.
  22. Colo playing well, which is good cos Fulham do look up for this to be fair to them.
