Is it just me though, or has Messi gone off the boil a bit? Or is that just media overreaction to the fact he was injured? I don't really watch them so it' hard to say.

Capoue was supposed to be a really solid player... I dunno what's happened to him.
-
And Spurs lost. They still can't score. I thought this year would be different, but it's the same top four just with Liverpool subbed in for Man Utd. Liverpool were part of the old top four anyway, until City came along. Nothing changes. Although I'd argue that we lost our top 4 status to Liverpool as well actually. Although maybe also Chelsea.

I see we have Liverpool on the final game of the season...at Anfield. Let's hope they're not still vying for the League at that point. Also, their GD is now almost on par with City...

He started on the right, and then swapped with Januzaj and went onto the left. And then he disappeared. I'm not really sure what happened, but I think he took Van Persie with him.
-
Yep, that was an annihilation.

Ouch 3-0
-
He was right for the first two tbh. I think he's reffed it well.
-
Have to say I'm enjoying this game
-
There wasn't, Sturridge sold it to the ref. I thought it was clear cut before the replay though.

oh my god Vidic
-
The play acting is out in force now for Man Utd.
-
Oh dear...this may be it for Moyes.
-
Rafael lucky to be in the game... the guy is such a liability.
-
He can't possibly think that's true... I think he's failing to consider that while they play good football, everyone associated with the club, including Rodgers, is an utter bell-end. Although it would be something special to see Man Utd lose today... There'd be hell on in the media.

That Aeris thing is kinda harsh actually, but maybe I've missed whatever it is she does to wind everyone up.
-
I dunno, I think he will spend. I actually think we legitimately tried to in January, else why would he have sacked Kinnear? I think there's an acceptance that money needs to be spent, and knowing Ashley, it's entirely possible that he'll being in 2-3 new players, we're all fairly happy about it, and we'll then spend the next 12 months waiting for him to pull the carpet out from under us.

Goddammit...

Ok so I feel pretty young now... 2002 for me. That said, on the comment about them formerly being harder - I can believe that. Saying that though, if they were based around 'remembering things' and regurgitating other people's theories, then they were still as useless in a practical sense for preparing anyone for the real world as they are now, I'd wager. Gove goes on about how far ahead of us educationally the Chinese are, without any consideration of the fact that out of a population of 1 billion people, they have almost no original ideas about anything.

For what it's worth, I agree with you.

It's extremely close at the bottom of the table - Not sure how Swansea ended up in there to be honest... Despite winning today, I think Fulham are gone. They've got too much to do. Probably Cardiff as well.
-
I hope you're right, but their home games look pretty winnable to me. especially if they're still in with a chance of staying up with two games to go.
-
Even so, I have this awful feeling that they're going to get away with it...
-
Depressing game - also utterly awful game - but we need a two decent goalscorers in the summer. Remy could be one, not that he'd stay. De Jong can replace Shola in the ineffective holding the ball up role, and we can replace Cisse. We'll need to replace Colo, and we need to replace Cabaye. That's a fair size rebuilding job...
