  1. Thats bollocks though. There are many reasons a fan wouldnt or couldnt go to the match on a regular basis. Doesn't make them any "less" of a supporter. Also everytime I go to any match live the amount of absolute bullshit and nonsense I hear spouted by the people around me is astounding. The kind of fan that thinks Colback offers anything to the team or gets furious at a throw in going the wrong way, mouthbreathers. Are they better fans than people who actually know something about football? Are the they shite. But best ignore me because I probably only get to 2/3 home games a season, so I dont think im invested enough.
  2. Aye I understand that. But if you wanted to pick a particular game to vent all that pent up fury then surely the 5-1 against palace was the one? Personally passed anger a long time ago and well onto acceptance/apathy which is even sadder I suppose.
  3. There is many reasons to be pissed off as a newcastle fan. Not sure a tight 1-0 loss where we could just have easily won is the biggest reason mind.
  4. Some proper super fanning going on in here mind, just because you live in Newcastle and go to games doesnt make you any more knowledgable or invested in the team imo. Thought after the first half an hour we played OK, not good but OK. Anita and Colo were probably our best. Missed two sitters in the last two games that give us an extra 6 points, big difference and feeling.
  5. I essentially work for a housing association, due to budget cuts in the coming years we have had a round of voluntary redundancies. Luckily we had a lot of people who have been here long enough to make it work for them so no compulsory necessary. It will however fuck a lot of housing associations over, and in turn council tenants who need our services.
  6. I've read most of the graphic novels (comics if you prefer) and I could never get away with the show.
  7. The new CDM regs can be a ballache for domestic clients as well if you/your contractor arent up to speed.

I went to uni in Scotland and was in the uni bar watching England play in a tournament. There was this bloke/kid wearing a Scotland top and kilt with his face painted supporting whoever it was we were playing, Scotland didn't even qualify. Little man syndrome that.
  9. Aye maybe you are both right. But I actually work with and know them, so I am.
  10. I would expect their 3 behind Kane to cause our fullbacks and central midfield a lot of trouble. I think we could bother them on the break especially down either side, Rose isn't a LB and Walker despite playing ok can't defend. I have always hated Spurs, the fact our misses' old man is a spurs fan doesn't help. Narrow win either way for me, probably lose.
  11. Pure conjecture but there is a proper chav family at the puppy class with this ratty dog that was basically a fucking mong. I would put money on that being the source of the kennel cough, the pneumonia is just because she is a pup and swallowed the shite she was coughing up from the KC.
  12. I grew up with dogs so I guess I took them for granted (got a 14 year old lab at my mam and dads). Bit different now that I have one of my own, got a bit emotional leaving her at the vets tbh. Cheers btw, how did you explain away the shrooms though?
  13. Had to take the puppy to the vets, she has swallowed some of the gunk she has been coughing up from her kennel cough into her lungs and it looks like pneumonia now.. Poor little fucker, she is having over nighter in an oxygen tent thing, some X-rays and a bit medicine. House feels dead empty and she has only been here a few month. £700
  14. We pay decent money, living wage at least (certified) for the admin staff etc. It a quantity over quality thing
  15. Aye thats it for me too. I dont want to go to Walkabout and drink 3 for 2 bottles of VB, but if I was to suggest somewhere that a drink cost more than £3 I would get laughed out the room. So fuck them and their lack of taste
  16. Puppy is not very well. She had kennel cough which is quite common. The vets gave her some anti biotics and she has got worse if owt. She is obviously scared and wont settle unless she is laid me/our lass.
  17. Ours is tonight, swerved it. "Oh are you busy/babysitting/other excuse?" "Nah, nah"
  18. 6 career assists, not sure that constitutes good service. Also plays most of his football on the right, despite being left footed, so he tends to cut in and shoot rather than owt else and with 6 career goals he doesn't seem that deadly at that either. Guy is all fart and no shite, only gets hyped cos he is British and scored a belter for England.
  19. Lived there for 5 years and go back about twice a year, love it there but Glasgow is more interesting imo. You have had some good advice already tbh, I lived behind the st James shopping centre in new town, morningside and marchmont but that was proper studenty and I don't know if that is your bag. Morningside is nice and quiet and the new town area in general was quite expensive.
