Yep, Braverman seals it for me. The most ignorant, venal, loathsome cunt of the lot. Unfortunately she is in one of the safest tory seats in the country so will probably hang around like a bad smell even if the tories are annihilated next year. Hang your heads in shame people of Fareham - wherever the fuck that is.
-
Love that gif. Well, the sun has finally reached the coast and my God. I'll have to stay in for fear I'll be put on a register.
-
SHe was in one of the safest tory seats in the country and has managed to fuck it up because of Johnson. Hilarious.

If he's a penniless charver sprouting kids by the dozen shouldn't he get the Jeremy Kyle treatment like everybody else?

25% of people believe covid was a hoax. These people shouldn't be allowed to vote. Democracy is fucked. https://www.theguardian.com/society/2023/jun/13/quarter-in-uk-believe-covid-was-a-hoax-poll-on-conspiracy-theories-finds

Nice post. Returning to the subject of the SMB, despite the summer break, they are fewming even more. Banging on about 9/11, Yemen, executions, and paedophilia. Apparently we cheer on a paedophile (MBS). Never even heard the bloke mentioned once at SJP personally. But..... didn't they actually LITERALLY cheer on a a lad charged and later convicted of paedophilia? The fucking brass neck of them.

And some astrophysicists bitch.

Northern Iron on t'ferry? Luxury. My parents made me go fucking YOUTH HOSTELING in Scotland. You were supposed to be on holiday but slept in concentration camp style unisex dormitories and actually had "duties" (chores) to do every day like cleaning the fucking netty.
-
My one and only foreign holiday with my parents was SW France, near Biarritz. By coach. That was bad enough. I do remember a coach of Irish people arriving the second week we were there, fuck knows how long that took. But what I most vividly remember was their skin colour, not even white, I swear to God these paddies were universally varicose blue*, getting off the coach to scorching mid July South France UV, at a time when people weren't so aware of sun block. * Have Dulux patented this colour? They really should, along with Howmanheymana'veshitmeself brown.

I'm sure as an engineer you'll understand these predictions are inherently subject to a lot of uncertainty and I think it erupting now is probably in the 95% CI range? Certainly, I know some geologists are alrmed by just how fast the ground is rising. That's the best thing about the UK. No extreme weather, earthquakes, volcanoes, likelihood of tsunami, or dangerous wildlife. There are signs Betelgeux is imminently going to go super nova. It's 600 light years away which means it won't harm the Earth but will be utterly spectacular, visible during the day for a year or so. Might already have happened (as we are seeing in as it was in the 14th century). But this is where our puny human life spans are a pisser compared to geological scales, very unlikely to happen before we're all deed.

It's fucking brilliant like, one of the wonders of the World. As Alex says, its possible to get off the beaten trail and get reasonable drink and food in some of the quieter bits. Sipping wine with your loved one as sun goes down by a venetian canal is definitely worth doing (although I'm going back more than 10 years here). Thanks to the functionality of Google photos now, it's very easy to find old photos. This is the cunt I am referring to.

Agreed, see update.

Hey man, it was still a fucking hundred euros! Venice is ridiculous. Edit: can I just say, me and Mrs Rents (even then married more than 10 years) aren't particularly the romantic types, just wanted to tick something off the bucket list I guess. But can you fucking imagine if you were a romantic couple having this Italian prick hip thrusting with his groin at your eye level going "let's get jiggy jiggy" and spending 300 euros for the pleasure? You would be exactly the same Gemmill, nervously feeling uncomfortable and looking at your feet.
-
There will be mourning by the Italian gammons today. Think I've told the story, but the one time I went to Venice and we did the horrendous touristy thing of hiring a gondola, with a dutch family to save money (still a rip off). Before kids for us. Anyway, the gondolier acted like a complete prick during the boat trip, being lecherous in front of the wife, and worse, the circa 15 year old dutch daughter, being openly racist, and just a general nazi prick. But he kept on banging on about Burlosconi, boasting about the cunt's virility whilst literally thrusting his hips and saying how he likes to get "jiggy jiggy". It's one of those moments I wish I'd done something different and jut pushed the cunt overboard but, being the coward I am, the worst thing I did (and the Dutch Dad) was to not tip him. I hope he's gutted today the twat.

Yeah. In fact the whole of Yellowstone NP is a volcano. It's bulging upward about 15cm a year I believe. When it goes it will take out everything west of the Rockies. Iirc it's not expected for a few 10,000s of years though.
-
All a cunning ploy to make me listen to it, gotcha. Back on track. Mackem's are smelly inbred tramps. SMB.
-
I was purely referring to AC/DC. But I can honestly say I can see no sembalnce at all betweem "Geordie's lost his liggie" and Bohemian Rhapsody. To the extent I'm thinking I'm being whooshed? Not sure May, Rogers and Deacon need to worry about litigation tbh. And yeah, you're on thin ice now like. I quite like Queen, especially their earlier Prog Rock stuff. There, I've said it. I might stick on some Marillion now.

HMHM, if you're ill on your a/l, make sure you get HR told, becauseit needs to be classified as illness and for you to get your a/l back. Hope it goes as well as it can for you anf your family tomorrow, at least the weather is good (even here).

I remember those exact photos from the National Geographic in 1980 (I think). It spewed 20 cm of ash for hundreds of miles around. Scary thing is its not a particularly powerful expolosion as far as these type of volcanoes go.

Burolosconi marrone pane. No more bunga bunga jiggy jiggy for this cunt.

I know they are, just not cup of char mate, absolute fair play to those it is though. I'll say one thing about metal it's probably the only genre that has lasted the distance, with places like Trillians and The Percy still going strong. As for me, I've got this mix soundtrack for long car journeys with the kids where we've all chipped in our music selections. Gets played loads and confuses the fuck out of Spotify what music I like. Kids' music is Taylor Swift, Meghan Trainor, whatever the shite of the day is. Wife is increasingly into folk and country, which I can tolerate. My music is mainly what you'd expect, Bowie, indie bands like Suede, Pulp, Radiohead, Libertines, other classic stuff thrown in from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. Not much contemporary. Anyway, Spotify classifies and displays on my car each tack, and mine are usually in the "Rock and Oldies" category. Even the fucking car makes me feel old.
-
Well, if its anything like AC/DC it will be shite, so I'll give it a miss thanks.

They stood in Walker and Walkergate. You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes if you look at the election results, here. https://democracy.newcastle.gov.uk/mgElectionElectionAreaResults.aspx?EID=14&RPID=19406288 But if you're in need of another clue think Pimm's drinking shithouse.

There was quite a lengthy piece on the BBC news at 10 on this publication tonight, with links between conspiracy and extremist terror groups developing. As it happens @Howmanheyman, i almost certainly know who delivered that through your door. Used to be friends of ours, they bought into the covid conspiracy shit, and have gone completely down the rabbit hole. Friendship with me is now completely out the question what with me being a big pharma schill and all. They have however delivered that paper to us before, they live in Walkerville. Both of them stood as an independent in the last council elections.
