Do you think the DUP will receive the shame share in the repeat election? If so, fuck you paddies tbh. 😗
-
Agreed. You're never going to persuade that 22%, but most are old. Just have to wait until they are an irrelevance.
-
The net figure is what you should be looking at. This is heading only one way.

Lammy on form on QT tonight. Haven't really taken any notice of Julie Harter Brewer before, fuck me what a hateful bitch she is.
-
It's canny enough, far better than Newscast. I listen to 3 political podcasts: Oh God What Now > the News Agents > the New Statesman.

Thats's not a Bilbo. THIS is a Bilbo.

Can't say I agree with that. Sunak evaded the awkward questions in typical Johnson manner, reminding us that because Starmer seved under a Corbyn government, erm, I actually forget what his point was. But Starmer wins for the "Beaten by a person who was beaten by a lettuce" comment.

All aboard the gravy train. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/oct/27/rishi-sunak-rehires-five-ministers-entitled-to-redundancy-payouts

I had no idea who he was either. I did think change his name to Pidcock and I'd not be surprised. These twats are absolutely pathetic.

Underwhelmed by that article. Tell me something I don't know. It also irks me why people seem to think finance is the only exportable service we have. I work in a huge industry related to pharma which the UK is incredibly successful at - for now at least. It won't survive long-term without investment ineducation and skills.

That's more the spirit! I'll have a read tonight.

If someone had desrcibed Clarke as a moderate to me 30 years ago I would have laughed in their faces. Heseltine too. Also recently people like Gaulke, Stewart, Soubry. They all at least seem human now as the tories have drifted so far right, dragging labour in their wake.
-
Yep, this is the crux of the matter. Johnson made them all sign a brexity pledge and any who didn't acquiesce were expelled. So this meant that there was nobody left with both the qualities of competence and integrity. Then Johnson normalised lying, corruption, and the defilement of the contry's institutions. Once we were set on this path the rest was inevitable. But shortly its payback time. Fortunately, Labour have retained competence and decency on their front bench and it is clear to anybody who chooses to look. I wish they were more daring, more passionate, and more committed to the country than their party, but they are a different league to the these rotten tory cunts.

Dunt is such an eloquent, persuasive writer. More so than the fucking cunty chops verbal barrage on his podcasts (which I also like). Brtaverman has been top of my hate list for quite some time, against some incredibly stiff opposition. She is rancid.
-
She got me She got me once during the partygate scandal. Like the WhatsApp leak, all too plausible for me!
-
She's better, but quite similar in some ways. Forensic. This PMQ and UQ stuff from the tories is unbearable.
-
So Sunak has just said he was being honest about changing funding formulas to benefit Tunbridge Wells. I think that's a mistake. Honestly, Labour have so much ammo with thich to fight the tories now it's unreal, plus they have Led by Donkeys as an unofficial PR firm.
-
Because the biggest impediement we have to growth currently is not enough immigration. Tou can't fudge this issue to the OBR. Braverman is against all immigration from what I can tell, including from India. Sunak will certainly favour immigration from the subcontinent. More generally, I don't think Braverman and Sunak are in the same camps at all. Patel would have been a more logical choice on policy alignement I think, but then yes, it's all politics.
-
I see we're also seeing the same CCHQ controlled bull shit stock in trade responses. Hunt and Cleverly both said almost verbatim the same thing when challnged by reporters about Braverman. PMQ will be the usual shite.
-
You and your fiscals.
-
Aye, I know, but you said it there, the "illusion of control". Her views are incompatible with most of those of the cabinnet, but she is not the type of person to back down, she's a full swivel eyed loon. Couyldn't eeven work with Truss ffs, why is it going to get better now? I think this government will turn out to be much more unstable than you anticipate.
-
Did he need it? I guess yes, to eliminate Johnson. I think you're right. Fucking hell, this will not turn out well.
-
Anybody like to clue me up why Sunak has done this? Braverman will cause a lot of issues and for what? I can't imagine she's popular with the public other than the racists, and she also will clearly have a problem there too....?
-
I know what you mean. I don't think these things are planned, but I do know the true tories will capitalise on it. Not to do with Truss specifically, but the red wall tory snivelling sycophants are truly useful idiots. They know they will never get another salaried job like this and will debase themselves in any way possible to keep their position.
