  1. We were talking about political election campaigns. I've already said I have no problems with people having political ideas or theories I don't support. But what I do have a problem with is politicians telling outright lies to gaslight their audience. You seem to think that's fair game, either that or you just don't seem to accept some things are an absolute truth. Take the infamous 350 million on the side of the bus. That was factually untrue for two reason. Firstly, because it didn't represent the true net figure of contributions, but honestly, that was deliberately done in order to obfuscate the much more important point. Which was the money we contributed to the EU was paid back at least ten fold by having access to the single market and many other membership benefits. Should that have been legal? Not in my opinion. Should it have led to the referendum being anulled. Yes, in my opinion. Why was the referendum not anulled? Oh yeah, because it was an advisory referendum even though you yourself have claimed the results should have been binding. And yeah, I'm an angry remoaner, because this is an example of how lies have completely fucked up this country. ANd this is before we even fucking consider Johnson himself.
  2. Stop distracting me with these ideas, I'm trying to work.
  3. Not in my experience. I use economic analysis every day to objectively inform my decisions, and these are all based on published or unpublished facts. Water is a molecule composed of hydrogen and oxygen, that is an example of a fact. Herceptin prolongs life in some types of cancer, that is another. If you want to pretend there is no such thing as facts or absolute truth, go ahead. I left that behind in sixth form philosophy.
  4. I mean man, her face isn't that bad even. It's just you can sense the void where the soul should be, and that personbally makes me flaccid as a skipping rope.
  5. We have a schill in our midst?
  6. If I'm honest I think she has a nice arse too.
  7. I thought you ssaid you studied economics? Did you miss the day one learning on normative and positive economics?
  8. Ahh balls. SpongeBob's biography will have to wait.
  9. COmpletely agree. I can just about see Johnson spinning this this way though. I really hope not.
  10. Yeah, that looks nothing like a lettuce.
  11. Is Truss part of a bigger plot to reinstate Johnson? Is her atrocious performance deliberate so people think "actually you know, Boris wasn't so bad"..... ?
  12. He's well pissed off reading that, tbf he has very right to be. She'll follow soon but then what, I have no idea.
  13. Sounds like a match made in heaven.
  14. Was it the FT that rather than call her the ice lady refer to her as the Iceberg [lettuce]
  15. Reported. That's just sick. Completely innapropriate.
  16. I think this assumes he is actually replaced like. Why bother when they are this useless.
  17. ANd meanwhile, latest poll has the tories down to 4 seats.
  18. Imagine how it makes you feel that the markets react positively on your sacking?
  19. Well that has well and truly piqued my curiousity. What's this on?
  20. Didn't she stay she was in "lock step" with him, only this morning? Its fairly obvious what that means. This isn't a lame duck PM, so much as a dead duck PM.
  21. She used that whaen she scrapped the top band cut didn't she. Said she was learning on the job which is a strength. Not when you've got the top job in the country you fucking cunt. Hastings before saying we've had utter chaos in the last 10 to 15 years, he didn't need to point out further which party is to blame for the omnishambles of this lost decade. And Hastings is a tory himself of course.
  22. And talking of Coffey earlier, good to know the NHS is safe in her hands.
  23. Max Hastings is spot on. I remember when people like him were the enemy. Doesn't feel like that any more.
  24. It's ALWAYS someone elses fault with this lot of cunts. Which has culminated in the ridiculous notion of the coalition of anti-growth, which now includes the markets themselves, and is basically anybody who doesn't agree with the batshit Truss. I'm glad were nearing the end game now.
